I think it's a coordination thing with me. I have a pretty good jump (not quite high enough but getting there) and I've been following your suggestions about spinning the rope (parabola, keep it in the wrist and forearm). Now I just have to put it all together. Some day. Your tips are the best, Ben.

As I get tired I lose my efficient form. I think that can be said for any movement though. This is by far the best tutorial I’ve seen. Great tip on recording yourself to replay snd really fine tune your dubz. Thank you

Thinking of the rope slapping the ground will be super helpful

Did a video as you suggested. It’s my arms and spin, so I plan to try flicking just the rope as you suggested

I tried the jumping in my living room and payed attention to the points you pointed out, it seems a lot more effortless and feels like i can upkeep this atleast twice as long as i can now. In wods i do single unders but in gassed out after 2 rounds of 30ish, probably because i am way too tense, jump too high, arch my legs too much and have the wrong rope lenght. I am going to buy a weighted rope and start practising at home while paying attention on keeping my body more relaxed.

I am ok at doing 2/1 DUs. But can seem to be able to go 1/1 or full DUs. I feel my jump is more natural now thanks to ur videos. I think is more my rhythm. So i will try The slow motion video and 1 2 and maybe even cut the rope a little bit.

Excellent video. What brand of role are you using?

I struggle with the breathing cadence. I can't do very many dubs cuz I'm out of breath. In case it helps, I'm a world class rower. I have an excellent engine, but I haven't figured out when to breathe for dubs.

People often tend to hold their breath when learning new skills, I think the breathing will come naturally once the movement pattern is engrained :)

Timing and tempo are my problem. I can string them together in sets of 10-20, but then I miss short. I have a steady 1,2,3,4 beat. Needs to be 1,2,&. I'll be doing the handle spinning drill to work on it. Thanks!

Maybe have the jump ropes you are promoting in your course available. I have your course but it is frustrating.

For me, I think it’s my wrist action. For some reason, the rope will get tangled up in my hand. It’s like my knuckles get in the way of the rope

Be honest, you have a hidden cam watching me because the 1st 2 tips were me through and through 😅.

Honestly I think all three. I jump like a dummy, I straight arm and I need to check my rope, I think it's too long

How do I stop my brain from planting my feet when I hear the rope whip round fast enough to do a DU?!

Practice your jump without the rope until it becomes natural
