There are numerous. videos about decocking a TenPoint. This is by far the best one I have seen. Explaining how the internal parts work makes it all easier to understand.

I like the detailed "why" in this video, but the method shown does not match the user manual for my TenPoint Siege Acuslide. It says to backcrank two turns once the trigger box is locked in the upper position then backcrank the handle one more turn with the gear stop button depressed. The methods are close but not exactly the same, so which is the proper method?

On the Venom X, how do you remove the trigger box from the string after de-cocking it so you can bring the box back to its normal position?

I have a brand new flatline 460. it creaks and groans extremely loud when cranking in or letting off the string. Drives me insane. contacted Tenpoint and they want me to send it back to them after my hunting season. They think there is debris or something going on with the brake system. This did this right out of the box so not sure where debris would come from.

On my viper 430 I have to put pressure on the handle every time I’m cocking and decocking my bow. If I leave go it’ll free spin is it something I’m doing wrong?

How do you Bring the trigger box back up once you de-cock on a Viper S415? Or is the only way to have it back up is after you fire it with an arrow?

That’s what I want to know too….. I also have the Viper S 415 , bought from Cabela’s about a week ago, and have not used it yet…. So far all the videos say that you can leave it attached to the string, but none bother to show how to release it, if we want to.
