The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzbin.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

I just bought a Centerpoint Elite Sniper 385 and would like to try this method out..I've owned another crossbow in the past but was afraid of messing something up, so I bought a Carbon Express release bolt..

Got a WR.....can't cock it by hand....I'm too old. 175lbs is tough. I am amazed at how well it was sighted in out of the box. bulleyes at 20/30/40

Don't feel too bad. I can't cock my 180 either, and I'm still pretty young. Got a not-so-good back, but that's not the issue. I got little bitch boy hands.

You might want to add to insert the bolt, I have forgotten to do that a few times and dry fire inhibitor came on. Hard to get it back in place. Also, tell viewers to make sure claw is on both strings evenly, I had one side come off and graze my hand and it hurt. Must be my old age. I keep a block target and practice arrow in the truck to unload.

If you insert the bolt, and your hand slips, at least 1 of your toes is now gone. Do not do this.

I have a Barnett XP400 w/CCD. It worked at Cabelas but after getting it home it's hard to crank and before it gets far enough to lock in, the 2 hooks are scraping down the arrow track & also wedge against the upper rail stopping the cock by 1.5" from locking in. I don't know what what to do

Q: how do you uncock A: U don't Great video but incase you were wondering that is the answer to the question. You fire the crossbow, instead of uncocking.

Why would I want to purchase something to uncock my bow with, that is a one time use? you have to keep purchasing those things. I have used the same carbon arrow for years, with a judo point on it. I just find a place clear of rocks and shoot it into the ground. problem solved. just make sure you examine the arrow after the shot for any damage that might make it dangerous to shoot again. but if you are careful about where you shoot it will not damage the arrow. I have been using the same arrow for years.

i sold my stealth nxt cost to much to decock $10 in omni cub every 2 days it has to much power for 7 different decocking arrows i tryed it broke them all in one to 3 shots and cheap $7 arrows brake when they blow through the target i tryed taking in the back of the truck with me. it just cost to much money to unload it i bought a ravin r10 i like the 10 point much better and when they add decocking ill be a loyal customer of tenpoint again but with the ravin it dont cost me a $100 a month to uncock it. the ravin company i fell is just a monopoly you can only use stuff they market and they jack the price to 3 times the cost but one you have the stuff no more cost. but there is other brands out there that can be decock saddly most are not at the quality of tenpoint

Well... I just have my buddy jerk it a little for me. Seems to unload fine. He has big hands and really knows how to work it good. I hit the xring when I need to. He has it going very well for me. Only time I dry fire is when he isn't around and I have to either jerk it myself or have my sister do it for me.

I got me the wicked ridge model due to the integrated cocking mechanism. I thought I could just lift it without the ropes but its awkward.

My horton is a pain the safety gets switched by my rope and doesn't allow it to cock the bow. So haven't been able to shoot it

I was doing mine by hand. It's nothing to play with. It was hell on my hands. I had to get a string cocker though.

Never cock your bow by hand not only is it dangerous you’re gonna bend your axles and then you’re in the shop
@nosoyono10813 жыл бұрын
Boy for a 1500 bucks plus you get a hole lot of complications with these brand crossbows. I think I’ll stick with a sempler less expensive one that can be essay to uncooked with a pull string.

I bought a TenPoint as my first bow, and I will never buy another one. It survived 3 days and 5 bolts before exploding on me. We were able to zero the bow at the store before buying it, which took about 5 shots. Then 3 days later I took my brand new crossbow out to the public hunting lands for the white tail opener. I got out to my spot, I watched a massive buck get about 80 yards away from me, so I started to carefully draw my crossbow using the AcuDraw system. About 80% of the way through the draw, the AcuDraw system came apart, launching he claw in to my foot, ripping off the bolt retention arm, and snapping my bow string. Thankfully I was wearing boots and thick pants or I probably would have been going to hospital over that one. Needless to say, the buck got away. Repairs will take 3-4 weeks, and TenPoint is doing nothing to stand behind their “craftsmanship.” Trusting TenPoint cost me my archery season
