Hi I added the sport button to my 2006 530Xi ,I get sport on the dashboard and the steering gets tight . But can I add the DS shifting ? If I put it to the side DS my dashboard doesn’t switch si,s2..will this do that ? I have CCC . Also can I doit on my 2009 X5 with ccc? Thanks

Thanks this helped I only did the ncs was expert part as I run xHP software on my box and that’s made for sat gear selector. Sport button worked . Steer goes stiffer and better throttle response

@@saifiqbal2587 Do you have 530 or 535? Bhai please respond to this message. And did you add the $2TB option in kombi aswell? Does it display SPORT in cluster? If you have xhp you dont need to flash it with winkfp. It wont allow you to flash if you have xhp. You have to uninstall the xhp then you can flash it. But no reason for doing that.

@@MURILOROSENDO Noo, if you have xhp in you gearbox. You cant flash it. It locks the eeprom. The only thing you can do is to add the option. NOT Flash.

hi guys i have problem loading the daten files, i downloaded the daten files from the link that was in description and followed the instructions step by step and always get the same error. You don't need coding for the sports button. Just short the pin 8 and 10 behind DSC module

You need to upgrade to the sport transmission and ECU in order for the paddle shifter steering wheel to work. The sport shifter and ECU is the more important and less expensive part. You can always get the paddle shifter steering wheel after.

When you remove the $205 and add the $2TB in VO, how come it still says you have $205 and u have the sat gear selector installed. Even you said i wont need to do it because i have already done it... are you sure? In video says $205.

Great question! When I clicked START, CHASSIS, E60, and then CAS in the video, I had not added $2TB to the CAS module yet since I did not know it was necessary. I had only added it to the KOMBI which is what shows you the "SPORT" in the gauge cluster. I guess I could have clicked OK after adding $2TB in the CAS and then it would show it in the list along with the other options, but the proof is I have "SPORT" in the gauge cluster now and I didn't have it before. Also, I notice a big difference when pressing the SPORT button or shifting the gear shifter to the side. It is like a big boost in torque which is great if you want to pass someone really quick and I did not have that before. I found out after that you have to add $2TB to the VO for the CAS, KOMBI, and also the EGS module so you don't get any SOS Malfunction error in the IDrive.

@@bmwdiy Aha! I did this retrofit in my 525d and was working perfect without coding. After i coded it... it was acting abnormal and had sos warning etc. So after 4 days.. i got an proper answer. If you have 520 525 DONT CODE IT. If you code it in kombi you will have issues. Because the gearbox does not support it on 520 and 525. In 530 and 535 it was optional so there you should code.

Its the ZUSB number that was coded to E60s that came with the Sport Automatic Transmission from factory. You can only retrofit this shifter if your E60 is LCI and automatic.

@@leonkann Yes zusb is different if by engine and transmision. BMW DIY 535i have, 6hp21 transmision, your 530d have 6hp28. So your stock software ZUSB is 7592132, 530d sport transmission software ZUSB is 7592130.
