HOW TO - Cold Air Intake!!

I work on my sisters 2007 VW Polo 1.6.
Are you on a budget?
This DIY mod will be the perfect one for you.
The cone filter and induction pipe transforms the way in which the cars sounds, making your boring city car sound like a full blown sports car.
As seen in the video, it not only is easy to do yourself but also very cheap.
It cost me about R300 ($20) for everything.

Been running it like that on multiple cars for years No negative effects unless the car has alot of sensors and might adapt but for most cars Its perfectly fine

I also have a 2011 vivo 👊 I've been debating on this upgrade, and for sound I'll definitely do it. It's very easy, and take note, Autostyle and some other shops sell BMC filters, flat pad filters and cone filters, and I'm going for one of them. Might be a little bit more expensive than the K&N unit but it makes a huge difference. Sound wise it has a bit more deep rumble and install it correctly you might just add a small amount of power as long as it gets cold air to feed on Good luck with your intake

It's not for power it for sound to make it sound like a grass cutter but heat gets sucked into the engine the orignal supposed to be from the front grill into the air box.... But then again not all of us has money to buy a supra

stupid idea, leave it stock! no power increase. and you will damage your sensors due to more crap being sucked through or oil clogging up your sensor from the crap filter.

so you mean stick a cone filter above the manifold to take some nice warm air in, absolutely no gains here, only thing this does is makes more noise to annoy people while in your mind you rate you sounding cool and driving even faster.
