How to collect? ... the rare Germany 1950 50 Pfennig coin to spot!

It's odd that this is the depiction of 'planting an oak tree'. It looks like a person pulling out a plant... not putting one in. The roots on the plant are too big for 'planting an oak tree'. A horticulturist advising the designer on any coins featuring plants would be a good idea IMO. What do you think?

Regarding your query, these 50Pf coins are extremely common, unless you can find the rare errors I highlighted in the video. As for the 1950J, those are very common. With a mintage of over 102mil. It is possible the coin you saw is a proof version, which has a mintage of just 600. Please check the listing carefully before making a decision. That being said, I am not a professional numismatics or financial advisor. I can safely say with confidence, these coins have little numismatics value and you should not invest too much in them.
