actually you don't need to do it in that reverse order. you are missing an option, when loading a new animation, at the right there is a box where you can set exactly the frame number where you want to load the new animation file.. so for multiple animation you just go loading one by one placing them at any frame you need.

Awesome! Thanks for that tip!

This is a good workaround, it's absurd that programs like Maya can't do it in a simple way, even using plugins it's very complicated. Thank you for this precious tip

Glad I could help. Yeah, you would think the process would be easier in every program.

Question: I failed to load animation to the second video. It says no map file.... how to solve this problem ?
@TorQueMoD6 жыл бұрын
I'm not understanding your question. When you're trying to load in the second animation it says "No map file"? Ive never heard of that error. Sounds like something to do with a texture directory missing. Try throwing a default material onto the mesh first and try again?

If you select the bones you wish to add the animation to this should stop the error from happening

This is exactly the kind of tutorial I need ! great thanks ! Very easy to understand even for beginners like me. Though I still have a question: the animation used to merge, must it be an XAF file? Or FBX will also do?
@TorQueMoD2 жыл бұрын
I'm using FBX in the video - Oh, lol no I'm not. Yeah, you can use FBX too I'm pretty sure.
@lcs.10942 жыл бұрын
@@TorQueMoD Thanks. But what about the FBX that contains multiple parallel animations, like those used in Unity engine? Is it possible to put them all into a row like this ?

When i load animation from different characters with the exact same bones a message says boned not mapped or something like that , i know how to do it but there are many bones to select and map each ,isn't there a quick way to do it?
@TorQueMoD4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm not familiar with why that might be happening. Usually, if there are different characters, I move to MotionBuilder and re-target the animation there.

was pretty sure there was a more simple way to do this!! There are way too many 10+ minute videos for something so simple! Thanks.
