@@AstroShootingStars i don't have broad band Internet in my house from the isp.... so how can the router get internet if it does not come with Sim? can i use a USB dongle modem like huawei stick to give the router internet via the routers USB port? can i use my phone hotspot to give internet to the router? Does the landing page of the router has port forwarding feature?

Thank you for your explanations! Is the Micro USB Port for Power only, or does the PC recognize the Device through the USB connection? For my usecase it would be very important to be Power Only for IT Security reasons (otherwise I would buy a power only cable extra) Thanks 🙏

If you want to use this as wifi repeater you need to place this at a place where it is almost good signal so that it can generate another wifi to reach your tv with good signal. if you want to connect your tv to this via cable then it will have same issue as your tv as it will catch weak wifi signal to get internet. Thank you for your comments . I have not tested it honestly as I dont have a need for such scenario. However I understand the need for such functionality, but I dont like to limit the speed to a device when it could use full bandwidth when avialable. I have a sim card that has internet connection. Now, i believe there are no sim slots in this router, so how would I use my internet for my laptop. Do I use a usb cable from phone to tplink and then let it act as the wifi for my laptop?

if you have a decent modern phone which I believe you do they already have a feature called hotspot in settings which can generate your personal wifi which can directly be used on your laptop or you can use this as wifi repeater to extend your wifi from phone range. I want to use the nano to connect to a Bluesound Powernode with the ethernet cable and then have the nano access my wifi system and give me a faster speed to my router so that the streamed music doesn’t have interruptions in the playback. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i am not aware if the bluesound powernode but if it works on a direct lan then this device can convert wifi to lan cable and provide internet wirelessly to your device without problem. the speed depends on your existing speed of your internet wifi that you have. The language of the firmare is mentioned below the download link of the firmware as you can see in the video at 4:05. When you said key in Your password, do you mean the TP-Link password or the wifi password?

May be i did not understand the question but , since this mini router can convert your existing wifi into LAN or Vice-versa or work as a repeater. Using this device is completely free.
