How to connect a Fanatec GT2 to PS4 for Project Cars

I hope this helps. I looked everywhere on KZbin for a tutorial.
Before you power the wheel/PS4 on you will need to connect the wheel to the PS4 via USB cable.

Such a nice wheel. Shame it's not really fully PS4 compatible. Looks much nicer than a G29.

Hey Bud any tips for a similar process allowing for PC2 to work on the Fanatec. Currently I know none... I PC worked great on PS4 for me too with the V2 Base, BMW wheel and the V3 Pedals , However it does Not work with PC2. If you know a way please share it. Thanks

Craig Devine I have played with the rotation quite a bit as well. I have found that on the formula cars you may crank it down to like 380-420 and the others around 500-540. I'm happy you had luck with the settings. It is not perfect but it does help. +

Do you have any game crashes that I've heard about while using the wheel?

kenshinesca I have had some crashes but they were mainly to the PS4 controller shutting off. Its dumb as hell you can't set it to stay on. It screwed me up a couple of times on the endurance races. How is your game now with 2.0 patch? Also, I have had an issue with the pit crew not replacing the front clip after a large wreck which can be a disaster for a night race. haha

Salut depuis le temps tu as reussi a le connectet car moi il fonctionnait normalement et tout a coup a fait planter le jeu s'éteint en même temps depuis j'ai du mal à l'allumer et s'éteint tout de suite faut t'il faire une mise a jour comment ? Merci de ta reponse

Yes, you will need to update the firmware but it is worth it.

+Andrew Peck trying to connect to gt2 wheel and I have the project app not the disc. When the wheel goes to neutral and all bottoms of the wheel light up, the ps4 freezes with game. Do you thing is update of the firmware, causing it. Do I need the disc to play it?

I don't think the disc will make a difference. I do know it needs the latest firmware to make it work. Make sure you calibrate the wheel after the PS4 is on, and only hit X to start the game.
