It's expensive... but it's also kinda of aimed at the people getting higher end setups that want cross compatibility. I'm perfectly happy racing on my PC... but occasionally it's nice to use my wheel and setup on Series X or PS4/5 ... 100 is a HELL lot less then buying even the absolute cheapest wheel for any of these devices.

I ordered one yesterday. I used my T300RS with ps4 and my laptop, but since now I also have Xbox console I hope it will work. In theory I could get TMX for like 30% more than the drive hub, but switching the base on my wheel stand pro each time I want to use different console would not be great. Drive hub still will create some mess with 3 cables but I hope I will have a good experience. I just wonder as it has Logitech and Fanatec modes what about Thurstmaster? Will I be able to configure all the buttons, set the degree of rotation (lower for rally and arcade, higher but not necessarily full 1080 for sim games). Well I guess I will do some testing in two days.

Now I have the PS5, my PS4 finally moves to the room with my racing seat at g25. Only to discover the old wheel didn't work with the PS4... shame on you Sony. Got myself DriveHub from the UK store... Checked the firmware but already had the latest v2.05. Plugged it in and the wheels and pedals all just work perfectly. I'm using Gran Turismo Sport which is so much easier with the wheel than a dualshock. Rev counter on the adapter is a nice touch! Well worth the £81 free shipping!

I use one for the opposite, to use my fanatec shifter with my t300 wheel and tlcm pedals. I'm quite confident it would work for you as well but would be more expensive than just buying fanatecs shifter which is far better. Unless you already own it of course or getting it used for a good price.

I had same setup. Put your wheel on ps3 mode with the button on bottom left of wheel motor.

My buddy got one so he could use an older wheel system with the PS4. Works super. My question is this; Fanatec's answer to the PS4 is the CSL Elite. Tho the CS V2.5 is their flagship belt driven wheelbase. I know the Drive Hub will allow the CS v2.5 to work on the PS4 but does the emulation from the Drive Hub cause any loss of fidelity? Can I expect to extract the same upgraded feel and performance from the v2.5 on the PS4 using the drive hub over using the natively supported CSL Elite? Thanks.

pretty much the exact same question I have a year later! interested to know if you found out or not? I'm also curious as to whether the led rev-counter and speedometer on the bmw gt2 rim will still work considering that the drivehub uses the CSL Elite drivers? I'll probably end up waiting for csl dd compatibility or will just trade-in my ps4 for an xbox/pc but who knows

@@skippatrippa yes, i pulled the trigger on the csv2.5 and a drive hub as well as an F2 wheel and the new wrc wheel. Everything works great, love it, don't miss a red penny. There is a little learning curve in set up but best wheel system ive had to date over the last 20 yrs, bar none. Don't hesitate , act now. Happy racing.

I'm using Fanatec DD1 base on PS4. Just saw the new Thrustmaster SF1000 wheel and I'm in love! Is there any way I can make it work with the Fanatec base? If I convert the wheel to a USB stand alone devise and I'll figure a way to connect it to the Fanatec's QR, will it work if I use drive hub?

You’re using the dd1 and not the podium dd meant for PS4 correct? How has your experience been? I want to use a dd system for gran turismo but don’t wanna have to spend all the money to get the actual Fanatec podium meant for PS4.

Most Fanatec pedals have a usb connection. The v3 from stock, and the csls through the Loadcell. Otherwise through a rj to usb adapter.

@@lexx348 yes mate. Think l just set it up wrong at first. Didn’t have access to any force feedback settings though. Accelerator pedal stopped registering properly after two weeks of use. Used original brake pedal as accelerator... works good. But then loadcell brake pedal started not registering properly also. I really look after my pedals too. Always cover them when not in use. So l bought the Thrustmaster t3pa pedals. Two weeks later my brake pedal only registers when pressed all the way on. Can’t trail brake or soft brake. I’m really soft on my pedals too, so l don’t know what to buy now!! Sick of spending money I don’t have.
