Great video, good to hear a sample too, i have the same setup but with an action 4 and Rode videomicro. I bought a CKMOVA TRS 3.5mm to USB-C cable (for the convenience of one cable vs having an adapter), unfortunately it has interference so will have return it. Will try the Boya out. Thanks

Can I just say, I made exactly the same mistakes as you did. On top of that, even after ordering the Boya adapter I made the mistake of not watching your video all the way and now I had no idea how to get to the audio gain settings. Since I owe you at least that, i'm going to like the video and subscribe :))

Your test is great, and thanks for this. I founded on Internet that Boya OA-1 have the same function like BY-K4, but have a better shape. Maybe you can try and make a video update 😀

i have a question if i already have usb c headphones with mic should i be alright?

Hello! So I can't say for sure, but my guess is that it would probably record audio successfully because it is already set up to transmit through that USB cable. However, I would suppose that the audio quality won't be very good perhaps, but no worse than you are used to with your headphone mic normally. Just an educated guess. Let me know how it works out for you!
