I know many of you are wanting to connect Lumabooth to dslr/mirrorless and you are getting the dreaded “Camera could not capture photo” error message. Today I’m going to show you step by step how to easily resolve it. No stalling, No judgment, No gatekeeping. Going to show you how to fix it live. It all comes down to lighting and understanding the #exposureTriangle. Whenever you are dealing with dslr/mirroless it’s important to know this. Its NOT what worked in the office, it’s about setting the right exposure for the environment you are in. If you would take the settings in the video and tried this at an outdoor event, you would get completely different results. So in conclusion, learn the exposure triangle. Go down this checklist and make sure you have each one 1. HaveSD/CF card in camera 2. Jpg only TURN off RAW 3. Fast Data transfer cable 4. M mode not Auto 5. Have enough light? 6. Is camera in focus? 7. Camera powered 50%🔋 8. iPad powered / battery 🪫 50% 9. WiFi setting disabled on camera 10. Canon 70D or newer 11. Update to latest version 12 Files and folders on 13Privacy & security on

Great question, with the newer cameras. Especially the mirrorless ones, it’s hardly noticeable especially if you are printing 4x6. Pretty much non existent if doing strips. Try it, you will be amazed at the quality. You can always drop iso to 1600 and open aperture or even slow down shutter speed

I ran into an issue today where Ive setup for a gig. Did all the connection, took a few photos everything was fine. Suddenly after taking the 10th photo, the photo isnt showing up on the Ipad. Screen is black When I looked into the SD card, the photo was captured. Why isnt the picture showing up on the Ipad? Anyone ran into anything like that?

@@Rexsphotoboothreviews thank you for the replay. Storage is fine as I delete all photos on my Ipad soon after. Managed to fix the issue by restarting the Ipad & changing lens around

Rex! Great video! Still can’t get my R50 to work with luma booth… the camera didn’t come with a usb data cable so I bought one from anker.. I’m using the brand new iPad Air with the usb c dongle .. any suggestions beyond that list?
