ATR3350 is discontinued. Is there another one you suggest? Does the ATR3350IS work the same?

The ATR3350IS is basically the ATR3350 that has a TRRS to TRS adapter. If you can get the IS version, that will work fine, just don't use the adapter.

Why when I use the Lavalier microphone on the L/R input does it sound only on one channel, that is, the left?

It could be that you're using a mic with a TRRS plug (three black or white rings between the metal contacts). THe mic input socket on the H5 is designed for TRS jacks (two black rings). If you're using a lav mic designed for smartphones that has a TRRS jack, then you'll get an electrical short between one channel and ground and audio on only one channel. Some lav mics with TRRS jacks are switchable between TRRS and TRS output (eg MOVO LV1 and BOYA BY-M1) so they can be used with phones (when phones had headphone jacks) and standard recording gear. If your mic does not have a switch that changes the pin layout you could try getting a 3.5mm TRRS to TRS adapter. I hope that helps.

@@DIYVideoStudio The microphone is a trs plug, when I use it on a smartphone it records stereo, but when I use it on the h5 I have that problem. I think it is defective, I bought it recently, thank you for your help

Thank you so much, this is a great tutorial! Before buying new lav mics, I bought a 6.25mm to 3.5mm (TRS) adaptor and tried my two wireless karaoke mics with a wireless receiver (LEKARO K380S). While both mics work, the sound is only on the left track. The mics are on separate channels and I set Rec mode to "Multiple files" (on "Stereo File" no sound is recorded at all). Do you have any guess? Do wireless mics and receiver work with Zoom H5 or should I buy me lav mics that you recommend?

I assume you are in MULTI FILE record mode. You will only have a limited number of WAV formats available. If you change to STEREO MODE you'll have more formats, including mp3.
