Thanks for the video! I may be missing something in the settings for the M32/X32-Edit apps on iOS, but whenever I connect to my M32 from my iPad and want to make adjustments to certain levels, I am not seeing the audio levels live. For example: when adjusting the gain/compressor/EQ/etc., it gives me the corresponding menus/charts, but I cannot see live data like I can on my M32. Is there something that I'm missing, or is this just not a feature on the iOS app?

you can even use the same laptop for both :) Use the wifi or rj45 to control the M32, and use an audio cable to send your music to the console inputs :)

My apologies! One last question. When I change screens on my iPad while running the m32 or x32 app the physical x32 mixer does not always follow the iPad! Are there setting on the mixer or x32 and or m32 app so that the mixer follows the iPad app!

@afathersdevotions screens? You mean like layer, eq, channel overview, effects...if you're asking about the screen of the mixer showing the same thing as the screen of the ipad the no it doesn't do that

@ so if I goto channels 9-16 etc using the buttons at the top of the iPad screen on the x32 or m32 ap the physical mixer does not always follow the iPad app. You had mentioned you m a previous video that there are gui settings that some times need to be enabled so that the iPad is fully synced w the iPad app etc.

No you can only use the ethernet port to control the mixer. If you want to have internet you can plug you pc directly through ethernet to the mixer and still connect to another network wirelessly that has internet. You can definitely do that

Unfortunately i don't have Smaart so i cannot give you a step by step answer but when you launch smaart you can select the audio driver and if you m32 is connected to your computer you will see inputs from the m32 and you can choose where the measurement mic is coming and where the reference signal is coming from and do the tuning accordingly

@@AudioEmpire1 am easy way to figure out the delay is you can use something with a sharp transient like a snare sound for example and record both the measurement mic and the original sound int you DAW then you can see how many milliseconds there are between the first and second sound and just type that number into smaart

@afathersdevotions configure it as an access point. Each router is slightly different but the configuration process is pretty self explanatory you just go through the steps. You would usually plug the lan port to a computer and on the back of the router there's an address, you type it into your browser and then you put username and password admin admin and you be in the configuration and from there just follow the steps and select to set it up as an access point. People don't mention this in tutorials usually because by default the router should work, there's nothing special that you should do unless you're using a used router that has settings changed to restrict network traffic or whatever

@ the router sees it and gives the mixer an ip address but no go. Perhaps the x32 app can’t handle the new mixer firmware v. 4.12. I’ll try another router tomorrow. There must be a hidden setting. The mixer has its own private wifi router. DHCP works for both the mixer and iPad.

So maybe someone can answer this question. I had an issue at church where I connected my own iPad via M32Q Mix app at church (we use the regular M32Q on our iPads) but somehow we started losing our IEM audio. Is this because I used the M32Q mix app?

The app is just for remote control, there's no audio going through it so just connecting the app to the console should not affect your IEM audio in any way unless you actually move the faders. But what do you mean by "started losing audio" do you mean that the quality is degrading or that you can't hear anything after connecting the app?

@@danielkharrat Basically we run sennheiser wireless packs as our IEMs and everything is ran through two X32s for our IEMs and we run a Soundcraft for FOH. When I started playing our tracks via Playback iPad app, our IEM audio feed would go in and out (we lost the ability to hear ourselves and others) yet FOH was just fine. The only different thing I did was I tried to connect (it kept saying "listening" when I tried to connect) my personal iPad with the M32Q Mix app. There were times while we were experiencing the audio issues that I would turn off my ipad altogether and that is when we would lose our IEM audio.

@@millardjcurtis9123 since everyone is using wireless packs for the IEMs and also everyone is using wireless iPads, it's safe to assume that your problem may be too much traffic in the air and that would make sense that you're losing connection. So i would suggest switching from 2.4 to 5ghz on your router that's connected to the x32. But if that doesn't work try changing the frequency at which the connection is established for the wireless packs

I am having an issue where I have been using M32 Edit on PC with M32C no issues. Nothing was changed, everything remained plugged up, but now M32 Edit sees the M32c, but won't connect. Any ideas? I press "connect" button and nothing happens.

On the m32c hardware scroll with the big knob to the ip menu and turn DHCP off and turn it on again. That could solve it
