I've struggled with doing my calligraphy for years being a left handed calligrapher! Your videos have been immensely helpful! I l appreciate you sharing your knowledge of calligraphy and the tools you use. I also love your Modern Calligraphy design. Thank you so much and please continue with your videos!

Great video :) I haven't found many videos on connecting letters, so very happy you posted this one. Would love to see more on connecting letters and on writing words with letter combinations that can be hard ( i.e.: words with two Back to back "L""s or "S"'s are my frienemy right now) thanks again!

awesome videos. I'm left handed and just can't figure it out. I've tried under writing but it just feels strange in my hand.

Luis Molina , maybe it feels wield because you cant see what you write or etc , but with practice you will get used to it because underwriting is the most versetile writng method when you are pushing the pen not pulling the pen

Do you insert the nib into a potato before every writing session? Because I find that the ink won’t not stay on the nib for the first 20 minutes unless I soak the nib in the ink for 5 minutes first.

I just received my dip pen set, but have you seen the price of potatoes lately. I'd rather eat them.

Love watching your videos. What paper are you using in this video? I've prepped my nibs but I can't get half as many letters in one dip as you do. :-)

Sadly I don't remember the paper type! Try strathmore calligraphy paper, great option

I'm looking for a video that shows a lefty doing modern calligraphy, that is a hook writer, like myself. I have been trying for so long to hold my pen like you do and it just feels like I'm trying to write with my right hand.

I think I have seen one with hook writing before, and the gentlemen is a master penman. He has to turn his paper at an extreme angle. For me that wasn't going to work. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioDNmWOJoNysea8
