I know all about networking but nothing about the X32 Rack, this was just what I needed so I could replace a router our sound guy has been having issues with cause it's been disconnecting during shows and of course nobody documented the password for the old router so I could see the config.

Thanks Steven. I have 9 musicians in my band using Mixing Station to control their own IEMs. They can connect their phone Wi-Fi to my router, and they can connect to the X32 rack using the app, but the ditzy trumpet player always finds a way to change some else’s mix. How do I get the musicians to connect to the x32 rack so they can control their own mix, but not be able to change anyone else’s mix?

I was under the impression that the x32 could be connected wirelessly without an external router? Is this possible? Or only with an ethernet cable?

In order to connect your device to mix on the X32 you will need a router. You must connect the router to the X32 with a Cat 5 Ethernet cable or better. There is no internal router on the X32.
