For unhooked freestyle in gusty wind, I've been using a flat board to glide more in the lulls. Is this correct or should I use my freestyle board with a larger kite? I've been using the smallest kite possible and timing with the gusts rather than a larger kite and doing tricks in the lulls. Any tips? This video is very valuable to me. I've been depressed about all our gusty wind and wondering if the air style guys and wingers are right? So thank you!

Great idea, Sunday is the new Monday.... But now in Greman.

@@BenBeholzVlogs I think It is important for some tricks like board off to have good flexibility ,It be easyer to remove the board. Also have a good core and lumbar let you achieve more control in backroll or front roll manoubers. Quadriceps safe your knees in the landings. I would to know if you do some workout, or specific exerises ??? 😃

Great video 🤙 Just a quick question, newer hold back you pop ? Do you mean pop as you normally would do in stable wind ?
@BenBeholzVlogs
@BenBeholzVlogs Жыл бұрын
Hey bro, thank you :) Better even more... The pop is something you'll never understand 100%. With every new trick you have to adapt the pop. At least this is how it feels to me... Especially when the wind is gusty, it's important to gather all your energy and put it into the takeoff. Otherwise, you'll be pulled uncontrollably through the air by the kite.

What does it means exactly "never hold back your pop"? And how to take off vertycally unhooked? Hooked-in helps a lot higher kite position and carve more into the wind, but unhooked with kite at 45 and approching the moves downwind how to do to achieve this? Thanks a lot again for contents and tips that NO ONE talk about!!
@BenBeholzVlogs
@BenBeholzVlogs Жыл бұрын
hey bro, Thank you very much for your feedback and your questions about the takeoff. When I say "never hold back your pop," I mean that you shouldn't let the uncomfortable and gusty wind affect you. Especially when the wind is gusty, it's important to gather all your energy and put it into the takeoff. Otherwise, you'll be pulled uncontrolled through the air by the kite. Unhooked you can achieve a vertical takeoff by popping extremely strong. Gather all your energy, edge and popp ... This propels you vertically into the air instead of downwind towards the kite... If you try this a few times, you'll learn that even when you're hooked-in, the kite position doesn't play such a big role... Was that helpful?

Hmmm... Ich denke an Fehmarn. 14 bis 35 Knoten (in Böen). Dazu mein 13.5 -er. Wie handele ich das denn? Speed?
@RafCenterMyself
@RafCenterMyself Жыл бұрын
@donronaldo5454
@donronaldo5454 Жыл бұрын
@@RafCenterMyself Ja...

Alles was hier gesurft wird, passiert in starken Böen.

Great tips! I really hate gusty conditions. Last time I was out it was between 8-18m/s, I was alone with my 8 meter switchblade in 3°C water. if I pulled my bar even without any board speed I went like 6 meters into the air. Got scared and called it quits after 25 minutes of ragdolling in the air :D
