I have a version of excel that doesn’t allow me to get data from .pdf. I downloaded Office on my cell phone, took a picture of the .pdf from my laptop screen, and the table converted nearly perfectly. I will say that it’s hard to get a great quality picture from a screen and I had to mess with lighting and take a few pictures before I got a good enough picture for it to read the document. But it worked! This has saved me at least 30 hours of manual data entry. Too bad I had already invested about 40 hours of manual entry before I found this video :(

That’s a great video Leila. Sometimes, we get data in PDF that’s unreadable even by best of OCR softwares. For such files, we have to type.

Google lens has a good feature. The text from the image can be directly copied to your desktop.

I have also used this office feature but I found google lens is giving better results specially when the image is not clear..... so I recommend google lens!
