Hi, I have question let say I have a question to upload excel file, now how to heve this uploaded files into my excel as Data rows it's shown as links I want a way to read from upload and insert as rows

As usual, thanks again, Leila. When I come to KZbin to explore and learn about a new topic - in this case, MS365 and MS apps - it should be confusing because there are (literally) hundreds (if not thousands) of quality tutorials. But there are only a handful of educators who are of platinum+++ standard, whose tutorials I know will give me exactly what I need. Every time, without fail. You are right the top of the tree, and thank you for the obvious effort you put into this. if I sound extra-grateful today, it is because MS Forms is maybe their poorest documented product, and many non-MS tutorials only regurgitate the basics. It is so rewarding to arrive here and listen to your crystal clear presentation on the Forms-Excel relationship and link. Just brilliant. ☮🙏

5:33 copy and paste multi-row data as individual answer options - such a time saver! In this example a list of countries is easily transported to MS forms - without the need to individually copy & paste each country name (=cell).

Thank you so much for making this tutorial! My organization has been using a system of paper surveys for over ten years and this is going to save HUNDREDS of hours of work transferring them into excel and is infinitely simpler to use!

Now Leila!, You know you should have SELECTED 20 for the answer about your Excel skills!! 😁😋 I agree with the comments below - here I am needing to create my first survey form, and (as always), here you are boosting my knowledge level on the subject! I appreciate you, Leila, WE ALL appreciate you - you're SAVING LIVES out here on these Microsoft Office streets - PROPS!

Thank you for your explanation. Other videos explain how to make forms, how they function, all their features, they did not explain where the data goes, how to use the collected data, where it connects to anything least of all Excel. When I first saw MS Forms I thought "ah-hah similar to Google Forms which ties into Google Sheets." Nobody explained the use of Excel, at least the videos I watched. Your explanation is a breath of enlightenment. Yes, yes, I first should have looked for your video. Thank you!

I love and appreciate the timeliness of your videos, Leila. Sometimes I feel like we're on a similar learning journey, but that you're just ahead of me, so that I (and obviously everyone else) reaps the benefits of your willingness to share what you know and have learned. Greatly appreciated, and don't stop learning and sharing!

Hello Leila! I wanted to add a checklist option in my form wherein the person answering can check multiple answers for a question..is that possible in microsoft forms?
@topherwinters3 жыл бұрын
It is. 1) Select a "Choice" question type, 2) Ask your question, 3) List the answers you want them to choose from, 4) Click on the "Allow multiple answers" toggle at the bottom of the setup section. One thing to note - if you set your "Choice" to a dropdown display, Forms will disable the "Allow multiple answers" toggle switch.

I have a Microsoft 365 Family account but do not see the integrated Forms option when opening up Excel Online. I was able to create forms, get replies, view, and download them but not the integrated one you demonstrated. I'm a bit confused. At 11:50 you say that if people are logged in to their accounts, then the excel will display their names and emails. In the beginning of the video, you deselected "Record Names". Wouldn't the responses still remain anonymous after you deselect record names even if folks are logged in and take the survey? Thank you

hi Leila. useful video - thank you. i intend to copy n paste the list of countries from excel like you did to have the drop down list to select from in survey. Q: is it possible to introduce the dynamic drop down i.e. i want people to select their region first and then select their country based on the region they selected. the country list would only contain countries in that region.
