Correct Thats the professional regulated time for soft boiled breakfast eggs, if you cooked them for 6 minutes any egg after the first would still be cooking in its own heat and become stiff and then hard.

I tried it exactly how was recommended. I used white egg and shocked after 6 min in ice water for 2 min. TURNED OUT EXACLLY HOW I LIKE IT. Soft and delicious. Pealing was easy was well. Thank you
