I used this recipe and this is my favorite recipe for fried chicken now! I did make some minor changes. I used garlic salt for the buttermilk marinade like he did. However, for the flour, I substituted adobo and seasoned salt for the salt and garlic salt. So delicious. So much flavor. Keep those recipes coming! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m 67 yrs old and was raised in South Carolina, my grandmother , mother and her sisters were raise in the south as well. Never have they ever put so many different spices in their fried chicken. And it was and still is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. So all that stuff Quang puts in his recipe is not southern fried chicken..

Quang QuickTime! I used this video to make fried chicken this weekend. Used the oil multiple times and strained it. I love your marinades and more importantly, the time in the oil based on how old the oil is. The chicken came out juicy and moist. Now that I realized I can make juicy fried chicken, it saves so much money and much healthier. Can't wait to experiment with all the different flavors. Not sure if you'll see this because the video is a few days old already but just wanted to make sure you know that our family appreciates you.
