+Aisha Afzal thank you, Passata is like a thick tomato paste puree normally used in Italian cooking, but gives a nice tomato flavour for this dish also. Cayenne is a chilli powder

Anisa, if I wanted to make homeade ginger/garlic paste for this recipe, what ingredients would I need and how much? The store bought tends to have unnecessary artificial presetvatives.

+Ryan Thomas Hiya Ryan, what I normally do is some ginger and garlic peel about the same amount of each, and chop up roughly and blend, into paste. You can add salt and bit of water also if you wish. I may a quick video on it, and a couple of others, hope that helped 😊

You can also freeze the paste in ice cube trays and then put the cubes in a freezing bag and use when required.

+sams Alan Great question, many currys's have similar ingredients, in this case the Chicken tikka masala's gravy is allot thicker. The main base for the Butter Chicken is butter and heavy cream with the flavoursome tomato flavour 😊

Nice recipes but I don't know why so much chillies in everything.it can cause some of us to faint. Any alternative to chillies?while keeping the colors? The garam masala smell is just very overpowering and very very hot and spicy any alternative to that?
