Here in Northern California in the 1970s, BH was telecast Mon-Fri at 11 p.m. I watched it religiously, and the first time I saw this sketch and heard 'just soya dumplings', I almost had a heart attack from laughing so hard. Still one of my favorite moments.

I actually met Henry McGee several times. I used to work in museums, and he was a frequent visitor. He was very interested in collecting porcelain and ceramics. He was always very nice, and quite an intellectual man.

This was an issue with Benny, and after that show Todd was off the program for nearly four years, before Dennis Kirkland talked Hill into bringing Bob back. While Todd may've cut back on, but did not totally eliminate, his drinking, his waistline bulged and, as the years went on, he became more bloated-looking.
