How To Cook Roast Lamb Fast in the Air Fryer

Here's how to cook a deliciously tender roast leg of lamb in the air fryer in under 90 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1.5kg/3.2lb half leg of lamb
- Salt
- 4x garlic cloves and a few sprigs of Rosemary (optional)
Method:
- Unwrap the lamb and let it sit on the counter for about an hour so it's at room temp
- Preheat the air fryer to 200C/390F
- Make along incision on the thickest section down to the bone
- Make several incisions all over the leg
- Insert the peeled garlic cloves and rosemary into the incisions
- Cook in the air fryer for 1hr15m
- Check the internal temp. Medium but still juicy is 62C/143F
- Enjoy!

I get the leg of lambs from Costco and I cut them up into servings and store in freezer. It only takes 10-12 minutes to Air Fry for a meal. I prefer Lamb as it seems easier to chew and digest and less expensive than beef ribeyes

Lamb is so delicious. When it comes on sale I try to purchase some. Just bought some ground lamb. $10.69 a pound. Thats a bit high compared to Hamburger at Costco $4.99 a pound. So lamb is a treat when I buy.

Ah it's a shame it's so costly for you! At my local Aldi in Sydney Australia, lamb roast (bone in) is $2.33 (USD) per pound. It's around as cheap as pork and not quite as cheap as chicken.

Costco has the boneless roasts for $4.99 usually. I try to get one each time I go. I cut it in half since it's only 2 of us and freeze the other half.

Perhaps it was a smaller cut and you overcooked it. Try checking the temp after about 40 mins.

That lamb roast did come from Aldi although I try to get as much as I can from The Conscious Farmer. All pasture fed, no pesticides used,ethically and sustainably farmed.
