oh! sorry! & what about humidity from that concrete wall? or are your seasons negligibly mild?

In Kansas we have all four seasons. This particular wall was actually below the garage floor, so climate changes were quite minimal. The wall was also wrapped in Tyvek. I haven't seen any concrete walls in my area that "sweat", unless they are of a stone or cider block construction..

what kept you from putting the hottest component highest?
@cinemaathomeelectroniclife9323 жыл бұрын
Excellent question! The subwoofer amp and AV receiver could have been placed higher. However, due to the client's height it was preferred that the Blu Ray player was placed at that height. In mobile or rolling steel AV cabinets I always keep the heaviest components on the bottom. This helps prevent tipping of the AV cabinet that would be top heavy.

This might be an obvious answer but can one controller/remote run two separate fans while one is in intake and the other in exhaust mode? I don’t want to buy two controllers if it’s not necessary. I’m looking at getting the S7(exhaust) and T7(intake). Thanks

Yes. This is how this particular system in installed. The lower fan is the Intake for fresh cool air, the upper is the Exhaust which forces the hot air out of the cabinet. I believe you can connect up to 4 fans on a single thermostatic controller. You can easily remove screws and then flip the fan over so it blows in the opposite direction. OR when you order the AC Infinity fans you can request they reverse the fan before shipping at no additional cost!

I dont understand why you would need a fan on the inlet. Dont you just need the fan on the exhaust? The fan pushing hot air out is also pulling cool air in.

I most always use a dual fan set up. This allows for much faster cold air induction due to obstructions such as components and shelving.

what did you use to control the equipment when door is closed?

Oh this guy doesn't care about your questions.

In this particular installation I used an RTI XP-3 Processor utilizing 2 Way ZigBee and WiFi Data Communication paired with an RTI T2i Handheld Touchscreen controller. Many macro commands were programmed to control several zones of lighting, as well as the AV systems.

I think he was looking for a more detailed, in depth, specific answer.. Nice answer in layman’s terms non the less.

Should have used ventilated shelves
@cinemaathomeelectroniclife9323 жыл бұрын
The shelves were pre-existing. However, I did bore several 2" holes into each shelf to facilitate the hot air exchange.

That's not enough fans for that amount of equipment. Keep your equipment as cold as possible. Mines so cold with 4 fans pulling all the heat out that it can chill water into ice. It's absolutely perfect.

No no no you got it all wrong you use that heat to heat your house pal
