As an 8th-gen Tekken player, I've often been told to "just sidestep left or right" or "just duck" to counter certain moves. But I've always struggled to apply that advice and find success with it. However, when I face Heihachi, I randomly sidestep or duck and surprisingly, it works! There's no real strategy behind my movements I just do a random sidestep, and he completely whiffs his attack, leaving him wide open. I wish it were this simple against other characters! 😂

It's easier if you practice sidestepping other characters specific moves in practice mode. Carries over into an actual game

Haven’t tried him yet but I hear he has poor tracking on almost everything. Just don’t get too predictable.

He can't do two things at once. Until you sidestep your opp won't have reason to use tracking moves
