How to cover a heart cut-out cake dummy

I have seen so many cut-out cake ideas and decide to buy a cake dummy and create my own design on it. In this video, I will show you how to cover the cake dummy and decorate it with geode.
Tips
I used a thick mixture of icing sugar and water to adhere to the geodes to the cake dummy.
I worked on section by section when I attached to the geodes to give it time to dry.
The purple paint is a mixture of vodka and purple gel colors, I prefer using the regal purple by americolur. If you only have Wilton purple gel color then add a bit of pink into it since there is a lot bluer.
To adhere fondant to the cake dummy I used water but you can use Cristo it is all up to your preference and what you are comfortable with.

You would have to create a structure for it to hold up the candy. The cake dummy is quite heavy due to the fondant and the rock candy.
