Can we speak in Hindi during Gd/pi?
@rishabhmalhotra10653 жыл бұрын
@@priyaaaradhanaamravatitrip5611 English is considered to be a professional language in our country and NIFT is considered to be a professional college in India. Hence, I don't think it will be much appreciated if you speak entirely in Hindi. But yeah it doesn't mean that you shouldn't speak at all (as something is always better than nothing). Hence, my personal suggestion would be that if you can't speak in English entirely then speak mixture of both the languages. Try to include few English sentences in your speech and speak mixture of both Hindi and English. This will not give a negative impact on the jury members as well as you will be able to express your point of view also. And you also have time to prepare, hence start practicing right away and start conversing in english with everyone so that you are prepared to speak in English during that time.

It would really help me a lot if you could suggest on some points sir as I know this question is definitely gonna put up by them.
@aakritigupta6243 жыл бұрын
Hi Teesha! You can talk about your interest in the fashion/lifestyle industry. Being from arts background you can also always talk about how your discipline revolved around studying humans and society and fashion management seemed like a course where you could blend your interest for fashion, and your understanding of people/consumers. You can build upon these points and should also consider asking yourself first, why exactly you want to do this. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Sir I applied for nift mfm this year and I got 332 common merit rank and 276 category merit rank. I'm not sure if I should go for this course as I was aiming for top five campus, which of course I'll not get with this rank. Could you please tell me what all centres I can get with this rank ? Also tomorrow (actually today) is the last day to submit all the documents for counselling and honestly I'm still not sure about it. If I pay the fees along with counselling and I don't take admission in any college then will I get the full fee refund or not ?

Definitely, there is no such eligibility criteria which restricts any student in joining the program. The student should have a Graduation degree in any field in order to be eligible to apply for this course. However, before taking any decision of doing this program, evaluate all the pros and cons in order to take an informed decision. Hi Sanskriti, keep preparing for CAT as CAT exam is considered to be tougher than NIFT MFM entrance. Hence, with CAT preparation, NIFT preparation will also be done. But just takecare of the GK part, you will just have to put efforts in catching up with Fashion related GK in order to prepare for NIFT exam. Rest everything is same, infact NIFT exam is much easier than CAT

How I will introduce myself to the jury in PI?
@rishabhmalhotra10653 жыл бұрын
Start telling them about your educational background - about your schooling and undergraduate degree. They could also ask you about your marks, so be prepared to tell. Then tell them about your interests, things in which you have interests and also tell them about your hobbies. If possible tell them about your skills and things in which you are good at.

@rishabhmalhotra10652 жыл бұрын
I think If your interest lies in the job that you are doing, if you are interested in the profile for which you are working, nothing else is needed as a motivating factor to perform the job efficiently. Ofcourse, we had a very little idea in college about what exactly happens in the corporate sector especially in Buying, Merchandising and Marketing profiles, that's why NIFT provides the internship opportunity to the students that too two times in the entire course duration so that students get a great idea about how industry works in reality. So far, it's a been a wonderful learning experience in my job.

You should tell the jury members that how this institute can contribute towards your growth and can change you into a much much better and refined person. Basically how it will help you to develop your personality and lots of skills. Also, tell them how prestigious the institution is and one of the best college it is for fashion education in India.
