One of the reasons that players don't use consumable is that most of them need farming and alot of them need alot of farming like consumable need arteria leaf that you must kill a giant to get and it vary rare drop and sometimes it's not worth it

Unmodded, (I play on PS5) this is the basic "Leather Armor" that you uh... "Get" from Patches.

I want to do a rot biuld but all the good rot weapons are at the end and dont like new game olus

And even doing the rot build this way you can't really do this until half of the game is over since you can't get to the Lake of rocks until aftercaelid

You can definately use Rot against Radahn in the early game, and add Rot to weapons at any time in the Midgame or by using the ones you find laying around Caelid!
