Just don't quit, keep trying until it works. Brian Tracy the motivational speaker says nothing ever works the first time. John C Maxwell's got a really great book called failing forward. It's also on audiobook on KZbin. And if you haven't already I would listen to Jim Rohn he's a wonderful motivational speaker. Update since watching your video. I’ve been able to advertise my store and have gotten 156 visits!! This is wonderful because prior to being able to advertise, I was maybe getting about 3 per day on average. Sales are slow, but I appreciate that’s happening so far. Thank you again for this video. the website didnt allow me to follow it exactly step by step to be honest. its ok though, i can improvise using the dimentions and knowing that I needing the picture for a facebook page. but the login to the website also wouldnt let me log in with facebook was the first red flag.. strange. then i couldnt click on the right corner with using the dimentions... i just hand to manually shift the picture to size myself. i had to go back in the video twice to make sure i wasnt missing something. just for feedback though, it would be helpful to have the website posted FIRST or sooner in the video for those following along. otherwise its a really great video. thanks for all your help. im a total dunce at this stuff and it really helped me :) I'm in canada so maybe there's something with location? stumped me! I was excited that it would do the sizing for me only for it to not.. womp womp.. :P

Hi Luc- great series of videos. Well done! Only one tiny criticism ..... when you give the pixel sizes for profile and cover photos, could you state what that converts to in millimetres? I had to find a converter to do it for me as I created my profile and covers in Publisher first, and that doesn't have a pixel size option. The sizes are:- profile (180 x 180 pixels)= 47.625 x 47.625mm and cover photo (828 x 315 pixels) = 210.075 x 83.34375mm

I’m still struggling as usually when you want your page to go live, there should be a green publish button on the home page so anyone can search for you page but it doesn’t say that for me, and so my page isn’t published, even though I pressed page publish In the settings page

You can call your business page whatever you want. It is a separate entity from your personal account but attached to it so Facebook can associate a business page with an individual.

However, if you want anyone else to be able to post they will need the credentials of your personal facebook. If this is the case it is recommended to use a different email to create the original page.

Sorry John but I am going to have to disagree with you. You can authorise other people to manage your business page by giving them roles which can vary from admin to editor or advertisers and contributors WITHOUT giving any credential to your personal facebook. To do so, simply go to page settings and choose the page role option. The rest will be pretty self-explanatory.

Publish your business page and share it with your friends first and ask them to like it. Works generally fairly well

Hello there, I have a question. I already verified my page and I want to create my vanity URL but I need those 25 likes. On my business page, there is an "invite friends to like your page" section. In order to invite friends to my business page, do I first need to invite or have friends in my regular facebook page? Thanks!

Good info. The restrictions on the vanity URL are now much less. You can put in a vanity URL right away and you get multiple chances to change it.
