Idk about that. Lots of their topics and discussions are repetitive. Also, they keep talking over each other, cut each other off, and get off topics that you wanna hear more about to talk about their personal lives.

After listening to question number three king in on her age 55, not being able to lose fat being extremely tired I think you need to do a show on perimenopause and the changes that when we go through, I’m a personal trainer been doing it for 28 years I’m 55 years old. I’m fit, but I’m extremely exhausted, and I have fat that is appeared in places I never have before. It takes a lot more work and patience and lifestyle changes in order for my body to respond changes when you hit perimenopause and a podcast to educate personal trainers about this would be absolutely amazing. You guys happen to so many different areas and so many different types of people. This is one of the missing parts that I think would really benefit your audience. Going through perimenopause as I am right now it’s no joke. Everything must shift the style of training must shift the way we eat my shift supplementation there is so much. Stacey Sims is a great person to reach out to Dr. Mary. Claire Haver is another one. It would benefit you a bunch of trainers and especially women as we go through this if you did a podcast on this to start educating people. ❤️❤️❤️

Yass! Your coaching advice to caller 3 is the crux of what MP has done for me. You all convinced me (eventually 🙄) to get over the weight-obsessed, 2-dimensial belief system, and then everything clicked. Mind over matter is for real. Not trusting the process or myself was stressing me out and probably jacking up my cortisol and belly fat. Thank you ❤!

I've worked in Full Mouth Reconstruction practices for the past 25yrs. You're describing severe Bruxism. Try botox therapy in your massetter muscles 30 units each side, botox in the temporalis muscles. Your massetters will atrophy and this will relax your bite. Try it and get a hard night guard. They also make dual arch guards that prompt you to open when you clench. If you need a crown get a bruxir crown made out of zirconia. Very durable restoration. Most patients find relief with modalities mentioned above.

She is going to be tire daily if she is no take care her Hormones. All my clients are from 35 to 67 years and they know what to do. If she get stressed She will never lose body fat, we know that. Be a different kind of trainer, Don’t give up on her, most likely others trainers did. My opinion Male trainers should learn about Women Hormones and educate them. Believe me women think they can be stronger without hormones. Thank you! Mind Pump.

I love how you guys talk a lot about sleep. One thing Sal said in this episode about sleep deprivation and psychosis is so true. There is a reason sleep deprivation has been used in the past as torture. I can attest that after my son was born and I was still in the hospital I felt out of my body from sleep deprivation. My son lost 12% of his birth weight by day 3 meaning I had to do round the clock 3 hourly feeds, bottle top ups and pumping to get him to gain weight. I got max 60minutes of sleep before my alarm went off to start the cycle again. Being massively sleep deprived is like this animalistic part of your brain takes over. So bizarre.

Married men also make more money because *often their wives are doing a large majority of the household management.* Married men have a woman at home who takes care of the kids, does household labor, and manages finances/the family calendar. And yes, this is also true of households where *men and women both are working full-time.* On average, married women's lives get worse and they report lower levels of life satisfaction and happiness compared to married men or single women.

@JustinAndrews: I have had a very similar experience with teeth grinding and clenching leading to broken tooth after broken tooth (not too mention the jaw pain!), and literally breaking the ugliest, most heavy-duty bite guards the dentist could give me. Just discovered masseter botox and it has improved the clenching SO much. My dentist said I had the strongest masseter muscles he had ever seen. I hope you give this a try! Super quick procedure and I was blown away by how effective it is. Love this podcast!! Thank you for bringing amazing content every week!

@@justinandrews6447yes, the Botox (or Xeomin) works to essentially weaken those muscles so you’re not exerting so much force and therefore destroying your teeth 😅 lasts ~3 months and you can go longer between injection treatments the more you get it. Was so, so worth it. I really feel your pain with this issue.

One thought to the population shrinkage topic. I don't think the media was/particularly to have said about "too many people on the planet." I think the issue of a decreasing population comes from the fact we built infrastructures sustainable by a certain population size. Once upon a time, there were a lot less people in the world, so small populations wouldn't be the problem. The world we have built is made for a big population. We eat more. We use more. And that more needs more production therefore more people to make it sustainable. At least, that's the thought running in my mind.

I’m female but I also make more money now that I’m married. My pay rate hasn’t changed but I spend way more time at work and not for the reasons mentioned. First - My husband makes more than I do so I take on extra shifts because I want to contribute as much as possible. The main reason though is because I don’t want to be at home, lol. I’m going to bet I’m not alone in that. I’m sure many married men spend more time at work to avoid their wives. When I was single I worked a lot less because I had a life and enjoyed my time off. Now I hide at work. 😂

Just one more thing that might be of interest to Justin, I had the same teeth grinding issues when my son was ill. The only thing that helped, was botox in my masseters! Truly helpful. Allowed my jaw to relax and break the vicious cycle. And some osteopathy sessions. Take care, Véro

1:25:44 is there currently a way to find trainers that are in your trainer forum? I know it’s kindof a new thing, but as a busy mom in a bit of a rut at 37 I am very interested in hiring a trainer, and I feel like I’d really have a hard time trusting someone who wasn’t at least as Mind Pump loyal as myself as a non-trainer 😂

I would grind my teeth in my sleep and snore. I would go through mouth guards like Justin. The teeth grind was my body trying to wake myself up from not breathing. I use a CPAP now and don’t grind my teeth or snore.

Dang, I’ve been averaging 5 to 6 hours sleep a night for about a decade…..over the last year or two, 90% the exact same sleep and wake times though….🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve been using hydrogen tablets that dissolve in water and you drink - apparently it’s huge in Japan. ( where all the research comes from, they use it onto offset drinking 🥂😂) I use it as pre workout and seem to have an unlimited amount of endurance when I take it. It’s been easy to overtrain on it as I never fatigue ( could unlimited sets) from what I understand it may be multi factorial in its benefits. Hydrogen atoms are so small they have an all access pass to your cells and mitochondria - they can pass through cell membranes and donate an electron anywhere that it is needed. So I thinking I must get some mitochondrial energy benefits as well as some antioxidant benefit. I definitely notice when. I don’t take it. Ive been using quicksilver tablets.

are the programs on an app or are they something we have to "remember" or take to the gym?

All in a course library online to access modules for exercise/coaching videos. There's also a pdf for quick references of the workout routine for the day/week.

Have your editor turn the music down going forward, pretty hard to hear you depending on if this video is playing through speakers or earbuds.

This music at the beginning was bit too loud and distracting. Just trying to help. Thanks for the show
