This Was very helpful, thank you! Question- My beautiful signature I created doesn't automatically show up every time I compose a new email. In my signature settings it does say under Signature (appended at the end of all outgoing messages). Am I going to have to manually click the 'insert signature' pen icon at the bottom of the email message every time I want to send a new email?

Right underneath you will see "signature defaults" and there you will choose a signature you want from the drop down for new emails and replys. Then they should automatically be added for you. :)

Super helpful! Our signature looks beautiful now! Question: When sent a test email to myself, the signature shows great on my desktop, but doesn't show at all in my phone (there are blank little boxes that if I click them, do work but you can't see what it is). Is this a phone setting that I need to fix or a Google setting when I set it up? Thanks!

Hi there! Usually if you just type in the phone number as the click url it works for mobile. :) You can test that out, but know that it won't work from your desktop experience.

I tried to do it but when I click to make the image smaller where it is not the original size, it works and shows me the smaller picture in that box but when I go to send an email- the picture is huge again… I dk what is going on! Any suggestions?

Hi there! thanks for watching. I would deliver pngs or you can do everything in a word document, link each image and then your clients will be able to easily copy and paste that word doc into their Gmail and it should all be clickable. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi Abby. Your description for creating a professional signature in Gmail using Canva was awesome I did everything until I got to adding the icons and there was a large gap between my signature/logo and the live link icons at the bottom. Likely quite a simple thing but I wanted to have the icons closer to my signature. In your description you said hit right arrow and enter but my enter seem to go way down the page so there was a huge gap between my icons and the signature like I said. If you can help me that would be great

Hi Lana! thanks for watching the video and so glad you are implementing it right away. When you hit the right arrow, no need to enter. Just hit the right arrow and paste and they should align right next to each other. Let me know if that helps!

Hi love! This was all super helpful. The signature works great when I’m using a computer but when I use my phone or ipad it will only show blank boxes. I saw a previous comment that said she was using the ‘mail’ app that iPhones come with. I’m using both the gmail app on my iPhone and the online web version on my iPad, it shows the empty boxes for both. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to use a clickable signature across all devices, especially from android to ios. I'd recommend catering to where your audience is. You can peek at that inside Google Analytics.

Why do graphics/logos created in Canva uploaded to gmail look blurry? Do we have to use Google friendly fonts only?

They shouldn't look blurry unless the size is being exported too low. I would check the size and make sure they aren't being distorted. Some Canva fonts will definitely be less legible so that is for sure something to consider.

Canva has now made changes in the free options. So now you can’t use the size you recommended. I’m wondering if that’s why now when I try to upload the signature I only get a blue box with a question mark?? Or what have I done wrong?

Hi Adam! Apologies for the delay. We've had this happen before when Gmail can't locate the files, for example if you saved them on your desktop. Try to save them from Drive and then upload to your signature. Let us know if that works!
