I have to say this was very informative I learned so much from this particular video… love how you explained everything like not torching the ends something I didn’t know that would explain why my edges always turn out not to my liking… absolutely love this video job well done Rhonda

this is a fabulously detailed tutorial, thanks!, When you sanded prior to the flood coat, what levela/# of sandpaper do you suggest?

Hey Rhonda. I hope you’re enjoying Hawaii couple of questions for you. First one is do you think this technique can be done when you pour in place on a backsplash? I’m thinking not because the paint mix is so thin. Second question. When you add the mica flakes, are you OK to add them to the flood coat instead of the color coat as long as you don’t mix up your flood coat vigorously and break up the flakes?

Correct, there’s no way to do this on a vertical surface. Yes you can add to flood coat, but it doesn’t look as natural.

Hi Rhonda, I am curious to know if epoxy can be used in a pond and swimming pool?
@RK3Designs
@RK3Designs Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t recommend epoxy for this type of application. It’s not me t to be submerged for long periods of time.

Kenny is adorable, but you do not look like his mom! lol I don't know if I would ever do this particular finish, but I did learn a couple of tips that I had previously missed!

When you do so many steps, it would be great to get close ups between the stages to get a feel for what each step adds. Thank you.

Beautiful result, and what a fun process; it did lose me when presenter said you just go in and clean up the bubbles that had formed in the 1st resin coat. Clean up how? By dabbing paint over them maybe? That seemed a tad important but unclear.

She did mention to sand them and clean out the epoxy dust with alcohol. The hole will then fill in with the flood coat 😊
