Color us the key for me to link clothing items together. I use scarves a lot, even in summer, to add prints. Fabric textures in tops add another dimension. Lace, for example, in an ivory top gives a different dressier appearance. Great show. You are inspiring! Pat in Colorado

Ontario Canada. 3 seasons: long winter, short spring, medium autumn, 2 weeks of summer. We're still waiting for Spring to arrive here. We got snow last night and today so We're still wearing winter coats, boots and gloves. I definitely prefer the hot pink t-shirt. I love the skorts and shorts. I didn't think that we were still able to wear them at my age.

Amazing capsule wardrobe! Love how you coordinated the patterns with the solid colours. I do much of the same and never get bored with it. However, I must admit I have two different capsule wardrobes with two colour schemes depending on the season: spring/summer is mainly blues, white and navy, autumn/winter is all about the dark reds, greens, blues, and grey or black. Might add some vibrant greens to my summer capsule though after watching your video,. Thank you for your inspiration.

Yours favorite colors are my favorite colors too but I do not have them. I’ve gone down a different route and have a lot of neutrals ( more easy to find second hand) with a play on details but i must say that I love your color palette it makes me happy and it is a the biggest reason I click in your videos. They speak to me but I’m not sure I can pull them off . Categorize myself as “ muted” not raidiant/ in your face. I’m in awe 😀

Hi Maria, from what I can see from your image - you'd look great in a few pops of color! The good thing about wearing a lot of neutrals is that you can add in a few pops of color. Why not choose your favorite color and add it to your wardrobe with an affordable tank or tee and maybe a pair of shoes, handbag, or jewelry? 🤔

I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area. We do have four distinct seasons, but except for the hot summers, the others are fairly mild. Here, most of autumn is hot and most of spring is cool. I do shift some clothes in and out of storage for each of the four seasons, but my year-round items stay in my closet. (I have too many clothes to keep everything year-round in my tiny closet). I just did my spring shift, I put away leather/faux leather, heavy sweaters, etc., but am still wearing long sleeves and long trousers, or dresses/skirts. When it gets warmer, I will bring out my linen, shorts and short-sleeved tops.

I'm in southern Louisiana. We might experience 2 seasons with winter being very short. We are a subtropical area and seem to be getting hotter each year. I am a blue Jean Gal. So I am really limited. Don't get rid of everything, just pull out what works together. If this is overwhelming, separate by color, get rid of anything worn, poorly fitted (or have it tailored)nd or completely out of style. Then pull 3 to 4 color groups with a neutral base or two plus accents. Put this in one area of your closet and make outfits out of what you have.

I'm from Germany and we also have 4 seasons. i think as long as you know what style type you are and what colors you like it's easier to search for clothes... i Liked the pink one...

I like the capsule wardrobe idea and how you incorporate color. Am trying to do more of that myself. Love your color combos! May shop for a skort. Yours look like a fun alternative to shorts. A question...Do you have any tips for putting together a vacation capsule for a 3 week cruise/land tour to Australia/New Zealand in January? It will be summer there so am doing my planning/shopping now. Don't want to over pack. I am a youngish-looking 70 but am mindful of dressing appropriately. Hi Nancy, love your channel. I am from Germany, but know the brands you mention, since I lived 7 years in Laguna Hills. Need to say, that your bright colours are not mine. I like to wear neutrals, beiges, cognacs, blue jeans and greenery. Got a capsule wardrobe in dark olives, taupes, light green and so on. I can spent hours to find matching shoes , scarfs and cardigans. Got a lot of cashmere cardings, since I live in a cold spot. Can wear them year around with down coats in the winter on top. But I like your concepts, like the Talbots one. Wish I could get this in Germany. However I get Repeat, Raffaello Rossi, Cambio, Semper Lei, Hemisphere and those brands. Can you please do a video on the coastal grandma style. That one I love. Thanks Petra

The Netherlands here, we have all four seasons, but in summer it can be 14 degrees Celsius or 35 Celsius so you need a lot of different clothes, but that’s not a problem for me 😉

I am from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. It gets very warm here often beginning at the end of April continuing through October. We can dress in lightweight fabrics, but often feel rather silly wearing very light colors into the Fall. This time of year, we are already into shorts and going to the beach. The weather has been into the high eighties a few days. By the end of next month, it will be sweltering!!! So, ladies need lightweight clothing that can be dressed up as well as down. I am retired and do not mind wearing shorts, but obviously, cannot wear them everywhere! I am also a busty petite! Try finding clothes for my size!! Can you offer any help?!

We have the same climate here in SE Texas. I’m also a busty petite. I think it must be the hardest shape to find clothes that look and fit great!

@@donnaerickson3059 not so sure about that - I'm a 'hippy' petite (pear-shaped) and that might be even MORE difficult to fit, seeing as how pants are so form-fittted now (and actually I guess from your point of view, shirts are also). Pants/shorts/skirt shopping is a nightmare for me! I sympathize with you & Cynthia!
