Set the pop-up value of your form to true (yes) then enable the 'run minimized' option in your shortcut to get rid of that background all together.

Adding to this great info, I believe if you right click the shortcut file, properties, then change 'Run' to 'Minimized', then the Access program will start minimized. You need a Form set to load on startup. Not sure how you can prevent the access app from showing if the taskbar icon is clicked however...

How can I hide the properties of the shortcut? I don't want the user to know the target nor the target type, let alone open the file location. Is it possible? I've tried with advance security but I can't hide it and read at the same time. Thank you

HI, I am running a multiple-user database inside my company and I made the user interface form (Like navigation form) to run on full screen to hide the ribbon and the office menu and for security wise, however the staff is uncomfortable because the windows taskbar and the upper bar (which contains close and minimize ) are also invisible, can I make those to be visible while we are still on full screen mode ?? please help

It appears that the splash screen hack works when no other Access programs are open. Is there a work-around for this since our app has two different Access programs that work together?
