Great video, although confess I'm still struggling to work out why our first automation isn't firing properly. What automation would you recommend if someone has signed up to our app in the app store, and then we're sending them welcome email. We set the automation to fire once we load the new subscribers manually in, but it's not firing. There must be a better way. We're only a start up, using the Starter Plan. Any tips appreciated.

If you add your contacts manually or by CSV, you should have a trigger that meets your conditions. For example, using the CSV imported process, you should turn on the "trigger automation" option. Another option is bulk editing to manually pull the contacts to the automation. We have a tutorial about it. Remember also the contact must be inside of a list to receive the emails 🙂.

hi. can we also choose the 1st trigger as "subscribes to a form" rather than a tag? :)

Hi Cyrine :-) If you are using the AC forms, absolutely yes. The trigger works really well, and also you can create specific conditions to segment inside the automation. Email us to support@wildmail.io if you have more specific questions around it :-)

Thanks a lot for this valuable video helped me a lot ! Just one question though. If you have to set up these email automations for another person like a potential client of yours, how do you send these automations to that person so that he can apply them to his email list?

Hey Dani! If you mean to share this automation with another ActiveCampaign account, on the automation page, you can click on the submenu of each automation, in the right section. There you will have more options to do. One of them is "share". If you click "share", AC will give you a sharable URL to send to anyone else that has an AC account 🙂. Take a look and let me know if we can help you with anything else.

@@WildMail_EN Oh ok got it thank you so much! But let’s say the client doesn’t have an active campaign account. How can you still make sure that the client can utilize the automations you’ve created?
@WildMail_EN9 ай бұрын
Mmm on that case I would recommend you to save the sharable URL in some place, and share it with the customer once they have their account. If you don't have an AC account, you cannot use the automations 👀

I have a question: I've found my emails are going to junk folder. I'm thinking of changing my ActiveCampaign email deliverability settings to manage my own email authentication. If I do this, will it affect my ability to track if emails were opened and link tracking? Anything worth noting in terms of negatives by managing my own auth? Thanks.
@WildMail_EN Жыл бұрын
Hey Silverson! Actually manage your own email authentication is supper useful to improve your deliverability. About lose ability to track, this won't happen. You will keep the option to track email open rate, and also the click rate. Nothing happen if you make this decision 🙂. If you want help to activate this setting, feel free to email us → support@wildmail.io
