No problem bro! There's been quite a few updates since this video so it should work better for you. If you ever want to add new items (weapons, etc..) just go into the itemset folder find the .txt file for the category you want to add then add the code name of the item to the bottom.

Hey, it looks good. The only issue I had was the Pistols loading in. The plate ccarrier holsters are loading empty without pistols so I just added the Pistols as inventory on the bottom of the json and now I'm about to try that.

@@Red.4.Actual Yeah that will happen, the belt pistol will always be attached to the belt holster because its written as a child for the belt. I never considered adding the option to customize the pistol attached to your plate carrier, I will definitely be adding that in an update. However like you said just adding it in inventory should attach it to your plate carrier but it wont have any attachments.

I’ve used this for my server but for some reason shoes don’t seem to work I’ve selected a black tracksuit with athletic shoes and they still don’t show

Which athletic shoes? I found that sometimes they have additional items in the loot table that are not found in the game that cause bugs when spawning. Try changing the item to a different colour shoe. If that does not work you can email me your json and I'll see if I can find the problem.

@@joeliptrot1537 No problem man, I've found that the game can be picky about what you spawn with and where. For example it wouldn't let me spawn a sword in a shoulder slot even though it can be placed there. I also found that they have items coded that can't be spawned with at all even though they are in the loot table, that could be your issue.

Yeah man it should be, I put in all the new items I found. If you want to add new items to the program go into the itemSets folder and read the readMe it will explain how to add new items.

strange i used it the other day and everything worked fine now i went to make a new file and no shoes spawn. tried athletic shoes 3 different colors then changed to hiking boots still nothing... if anyone else has this problem let me know

starface, I have done some digging and I believe the problem was your screen size being smaller than the one I designed it for. So to fix this I have added the ability to resize your form and scroll as needed. Also an FYI pressing enter or ALT + C in the main form will create a JSON file for you. If you redownload the program from the above link it should work for you now. Good luck with your modding and thank you for the feedback!

Yes it is quite in depth though and it requires modifying files that are outside the scope of my program. I suggest looking up @Scalespeedergaming here on youtube I believe he has videos covering how to do that.

Hey fantastic tool, with regard to guns with internal mags like the mosin, is there a way to code it so they spawn loaded?

I set the default attributes of all weapons to be 1.0, so if you tried to spawn a mosin and it wasn't full I don't know of any way to spawn them in with full mags.

it does work so far on Xbox, and what you don't have in the drop-down menus you can type it in the custom , example you didn't have the tundra, so I typed the winchester70 in the custom with the Hunting optic and improvisedsupressor, the next time you edit it, can you change out the leatherknifesheath with the NylonKnifeSheath, the leather sheath has a error in it and can you add the hunting optic, winchestor70, improvised suppressor and SV98 along it its clips in the drop down menus, thank you for making this tool.

Good to hear! And I'll change the sheath name next update, and I will add the new items once I have a server again. If you ever want to add new items that come with DayZ updates just go into the itemset folder, find what slot it belongs in and add the item at the bottom of the list, each item on its own line. Then it will show up in your program every time. Thanks for the feedback!

I checked the patch notes and official Bohemia documentation on the spawn configuration .json and there were no changes in 1.26. So the program should still work. Make sure you click get the newest version of my program which is linked in all my videos.

The program does work, I demonstrated it in this video. Like I said you need a basic understanding of modding to make the program work properly. If the file is not working most likely you have created a loadout that can not exist in the game due to improper equipment error checking. And if you want help I suggest you change your attitude. I made this program to help people out in modding, it is free I owe you nothing.

@@TheSpartan1034x You're right I am a dumb ass noob, perhaps your way of doing it is work for you, but I try it like 3 times, and it didn't work for me. But on the other hand, the loot I put in also not spawning, so it has probably to do with my XML. I already validate ed it. It says valid and still no loot, what I implemented. So probably your thing is working just the XML block every thing should spawn. So I am sorry I made an early call because I was frustrated, and that's how we people all are, making early decisions. So I am sorry, I should not do that, and I hope I will remember this little talk and never will also from now on. So I did a bunch of work with items to put them in, and they don't want to spawn. Maybe you have some idea of what I should do? The XML is valid. In my eyes is something or right or wrong, do they want to tell us with this that there is a way between????? I don't think there is. So. I am sorry for being dumb.

@@crazylaslo No worries man. As for the loot spawning xml I can't really speak to that because I haven't dealt much with that file. I found there is not really a lot of support for any files, you kind of just need to research what the keywords do and perform some trial and error. As for your custom spawn file, if it is not working make sure you have enable custom .json clicked on your nitrado server. This allows your server to actually read .json files you put in your custom folder on your nitrado server. If it is not clicked custom loadouts will not spawn. Second ensure the loadout you made can actually exist in the game, (did you try and put a 60 rounder on your tundra?). If both those things do not work you can send me your .json and I will review it myself. I will try and make a video later on making a custom loadout spawn from a fresh server.
