Hey, thank you! Unfortunately we haven’t, it was one that we quickly whipped up for the video, we weren’t planning on selling a physical product just the print file. If we have some time we may refine it to sell the model but yeah probably not the physical product

@@VelfCreations OK, great, I like yours as it cradled the neck of the bulb for better orientation. If you do, one suggestion is make the neck just slightly below halfway up so you can make a couple marks with a sharpie and easily rotate 180 degrees for engraving the other side perfectly.

So cool! I have a rather dumb question. What was that liquid you were pouring into the ornament? And why? Thanks!
@VelfCreations5 күн бұрын
Thanks! It was acrylic paint. It helps the design pop because the engraving removes the red paint on the surface leaving just transparent glass which allows the different color paint to show through once you add it inside

Is this also possible with the S1 of xtool, with the diode or 2w IR laser module that comes with that laser?

Thank you for the idea, I have now ordered the Rotary from Xtool, but I stil have a question: is it necessary to engrave the Christmas ball and also need the color shift?
@VelfCreations18 күн бұрын
For glass ornaments the paint is not required at all but we think it makes the design pop a lot more because without it the design is just transparent glass. You also dont need the color shift paint specifically you can just use normal acrylic paint. We just like the look of this one
@merrycreager72922 күн бұрын
Can you put the paint inside in advance of the craft show or is that too far ahead?
@VelfCreations2 күн бұрын
If you put the paint in first you may have to mess with the settings a bit more so the laser effects the top paint but not the paint inside

How do you frame it? I can't see anything because the ornament is so shiny...
@VelfCreations9 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s kind of tough, setting the framing power to the highest helps and also dimming your lights inside if possible. If you are on the ultra dimming the interior light helps too
@mojo26139 күн бұрын
@@VelfCreations I ended up turning the lights off. Could at least see the dot to somewhat center it, but couldn't really frame it, so just guessing. 🤷

Becareful using some settings listed and try lower power and then go back up yourself if needed. Accidentally blasted through one of my ornaments. I used the rotary attachment at 75% power and 400 speed and it literally broke into a 100 little shards of glass lol
