How to Create Custom Sculpting Alphas in Blender | GrabDoc free addon

Hi guys, in this video I just show a really easy and effective way to create all your custom heightmaps for sculpting in Blender, and I also demonstrate how to apply said heightmap to your brushes. Credit to Ethan Simon-Law for creating the GrabDoc addon and making it available for free.

Thank You. Great idea. Question no 1: When you sculp a crack, at some point You use a scsrape with original normal in order to push a flat boundry around scrape „into” the crack. It makes the crack looks much better. But when I am doing it in the same way, the scrape brush still bumps the area around the crack a liitle bit so the area around the crack is not flat. It looks bad at the end Question 2: is there a way to make the geometry inside a crack less stretched and more smooth? The sharp brush push the geometry inside very strongly.

i make all the same but for me it doesn`t work i duplicate the layer of plane, subdivided it, sculpted on it and move above Z-0 axis hit render and my render is still black. i use blender 2.92
