Chapter 1 Simon Servida was a 23 year old questioning what his purpose was. Life was getting hard for him, as he was constantly pumping out music to make a living. He had lost his passion. Little did he know, a special someone would relight the fire in his heart. It was a long day. Simon had just completed a simple trap beat. His beats were getting less and less placements, and as a result he couldn't make enough money for rent. He was living in the streets, making his beats in Starbucks. "Ding Ding!" As Simon was walking away from his computer, he heard a notification. "Who is, Cxdy?" He thought. "Sounds like a shitty soundcloud rapper." "Hey, I know you've been going through some rough shit lately, and I just wanted to let you know that you can always come over and chill with me," The email read. At first he didn't think much of it, as he didn't know Cxdy too well. Little did he know, he would become very familiar with Cxdy later on. After days of contemplation, Simon decided he would go. He rang the doorbell nervously. He had not gone outside in weeks, and his anxiety was rising. Cxdy opened the door and let him in. "Today we are gonna do some fun shit. Hey, come sit down and have a beer." "Rough times lately," Cxdy said. "Yeah, haven't made shit that pops in weeks," Simon replied. They proceeded to hop on FL Studio, and although Simon was reluctant, he knew he was having fun. In Simon's mind, Cxdy was the perfect guy. He was smart, funny, nice, and passionate about his work. After they hung out, he had been thinking about him for weeks. One day, Simon was extremely depressed. He was filled with anger and sorrow, and he knew only one person could help him. Sobbing with tears, he typed, "Cxdy, please come over right now!" Chapter 2 Coming Soon

This vid itself makes you one of my favorite KZbinrs! I like how instead of going along the lines of “How to solve Beat Block”! Answer: you should by sample packs, oh btw I just released a samples pack, You gave us really helpful tip and then promoted what your selling based on the tip you just gave. Really great idea! Thanks!

I dunno, I think it depends on who it is. The Rhodes piano made it seem way happier and more lively than the toy piano which to me significes sadness and even sounded darker. Idk, I think it's opinion based and based on your life. To me a toy piano sound means death/ sadness, to him it meant happiness like a kid on the toy piano. All im saying it's more life based on what you grew up on and what your memories were made of.

actually, there is theory that can somewhat explain "happy" and "sad" harmonies and intervals. when 2 notes are played together at the same time, what happens is that the 2 sound waves interfere and create a resultant wave. depending on the ratios of the frequencies of the 2 notes, you get different sounding harmony. Since the frequency of notes work on a logarithmic scale, the ratios only depend on how far the notes are away from each other (hence a cmaj chord and a dmaj chord have the same harmonic qualities, and so forth with all other chords and intervals of the same type, e.g a diminished chord or a tritone). the simpler the ratios are, the more consonant the harmonies sound and vice versa, ie. a major third has a freq ratio of 5/4 compared to the root note, and the minor third has a freq ratio of 6/5 to the root note, making the minor third comparatively more dissonant. the most dissonant intervals are the minor second and the tritone, with ratios to the root note of 16/15 and 25/8 respectively
