Loved the video. I have a few questions. How can you find out if the quote is copyrighted? Do you just search for the info online? I wanted to learn how to design recipe cards or E-Cookbook. Do recipes also have a copyright restriction?

Thanks for the video, Nancy. I do have one question about the settings when saving the files. You chose PDF for print - but kept the colors as RGB instead of CMYK. Why is that?

Hi there! Thanks for checking out the video, and I'm glad you found it helpful. Great question about the file settings! You’re absolutely right, you want to print them as CMYK since this is best for printing. I choose the wrong tab. I will put a note here in the description for everyone else. As always you are so generous, thanks so much. I have a quick question about a printable listing on Etsy, do we suggest to the customer what kind of paper they can print on, bookmarks are thicker paper? Would appreciate guidance on this?

Hi there! When I complete my mockups, I just keep them on Canva so I can reuse them again for a different project. Just remember to name your file so easier to find later.

Hi Nancy when you save as a PNG why are you not using the slider option to bring the resolution up to 300 dpi? If I understand correctly the file would still stay the same size (if we are creating in inches)so that using the slider to get the 300 DPI should not change the size of the bookmark. I hope this makes sense - thanks again for all the great info!

Good morning! When you utilize the slider in Canva, it alters the size of the image, allowing you to increase or decrease its dimensions. However, it's crucial to note that the DPI (dots per inch) is a distinct parameter that remains separate from the image size adjustments made through the slider. I hope this helps!

You created 2”x 6” bookmarks and added 3 of them to an 8.5” x 11” printable size. It looks like they will print to be about 3” x 9”, give or take. Can the customer resize down to print 2x6? Thanks for sharing your talent.

Hi Karin! You're so welcome! It's my pleasure. I printed these out, and they are measuring at 2x6. However, if you want to double check, you can always use the Canva ruler to make sure they are sized at 2x6 before saving the file.
