Oh mate! I just got back into Stellaris for 3.6 and thought, i wonder if someone has done a video like this.... THANK YOU. Wanted to create some races and empires that would be fun and interesting to play against rather than the usual defaults (which are fine, but aya know, variety!) I’d like to see a lot of things from eve come to Stellaris but I’m sure it’s hard to implement skirting copyright stuff. Ship roles, hull levels, different damage types, signature radius etc. I loved eve but the online only became noncompatible.

Love this video and I recently got Stellaris and I have a empire idea and have a couple questions. I went with syncretic evolution with Elves and humans where the former acts almost like parents for the humans. The humans have rights but can't have leadership positions I went with a spiritualist and pacifist monarchy with the elven traits being slow breeders, intelligent, talented, sedentary, traditional. My question is i don't know if they should he xenophobes or not. In my head they don't hate aliens but they are slow to trust and are in general a insular culture so they wouldn't he xenophile either Thanks for the video!

I am currently trying to finish a game with my own custom empire the "Turtarin Imperium" who's backstory is that they rose to galactic greatness twice before but we're thwarted at the last minute by coalition of species. Rising one more time the galaxy will either bow there heads or it will all burn.

So basically, 3rd times the charm. Are they gonna be more unyielding this time than usual? Or were they always super warmongering, and that's why they were thwarted twice before?

@Thalmor Agent They were more violent than average, not a full-blown warmonger but very willing to use war and the threat of it to get their point across. As for how they fell, it was to a collation of species that would not stand for their rule. The second time around, the Turtarins sent themselves back in technology to pre FTL on purpose to avoid their enemies l, relying on their naturally long lifespans and the tech pre-built on that time scale to keep their records intact for when they set foot back into the stars. They are most definitely going to be more aggressive this time around as it was luck more than anything else that insured there survival last time.

I usually tend to explore the darker side of humanity in RPGs like this. They are abhorrent acts and I am 100% against them in the real world, (slavery, racism, xenophobia, genocide, ect.) but a game gives me a safe environment to interact with these. It is why I immediately went Amarr in EVE online and in Echoes. If I were to pick up Stellaris (I probably won’t because I don’t have a PC for gaming) one of the first things I’d try playing is a “Nationalistic USA” play through. Think like the Fallout series USA, United States Space Force, Pax Americana. “Liberating” my lesser enemies, “Cold Warring” against equal or more advanced opponents, and allying civilizations that have similar ideologies.

Hey, you can actually play Stellaris on PC's as old as Intel 4000 series on integrated graphics. I can play it on my laptop with Intel core i7 4712mq + hd 4600 . I wouldn't recommended anything bigger than "small" galaxy sizes though.

I have a lot of fun on the other side. I tend to play peaceful nations that focus on trade, but have strong militaries. In most Paradox games, you can change factions by saving and then clicking on another nation when you load up the save file. I'll set up a fraction to be the big bad and then go back into my own faction and become the embodiment of "Beware the fury of a kind man."

I simply made the Galactic Republic and later on when I conquer the whole galaxy I reform it into an imperial government
