Because playable empires are designed to be role playable, you make the lore. The precursors and fallen empires, however, do have lore since they’re tied to events that can happen in the game.

I've always wanted to play a megacorp, but i never really... got it? I always felt like i was way weaker than with any other faction and my branch offices gave next to nothing. I won't ask for a whole video about them, but any pointers on making branch office worthwhile?
@EinFelsbrocken2 жыл бұрын
When playing as megaCorp; I propose to play certain aspects of the game differently: 1. Go full on xenophilia; everyone is workforce, and the more varied the workforce, the more optimal setups and planets you can gain. 2. Clerks arent the worst job anymore. You want your trade value to spike; and you should really prepare and save enough influence to have your planet be the trade hub. 3. Neglect food and just buy it (seems the AI keeps overproducing it) and focus on credits and alloys
@penguinsrockrgr8yt2162 жыл бұрын
Maintain positive relations with everyone you can (Outside of other megacorps they are competition) Open commercial pacts with every empire t you find and put branch offices on their worlds to give you and them bonuses (your bonuses will always be better than theirs) Start a federation based around trade and make it so the empire with the most money is the president (so always you) Trade value = energy credits

Pacifist empires gain massive defensives bonuses, you rush science ships and expansion so that you can gather as much land as possible (usually you want to make sure they are as 'chokepointed' as possible of course though, this usually allows you to get plenty of land and planets to remain competitive and you focus on building tall via megastructures, habitats, orbital rings, ringworlds, etc. I highly recommend learning to craft your own empires for these kinds of purposes though, it can be daunting when you first click the button but I promise it isn't even a fraction as complicated as it looks.

Mechanist origin Felidae Hegemony (aka badass pussy cats): Imperial with fanatic militarist and authoritarian. Hegemon origin Human Colonial Initiative (colonies that seceded from both the UN and COM): Democracy with fanatic xenophile and materialist. Common ground origin The Warband (aquatic humanoid dolphins): Dictatorial, Fanatic Authoritatian and militarist. Ocean paradise origin Zetan Confederacy: Democracy with fanatic materialist and xenophile. Syncretic evolution origin Galactic Information Bureau : Megacorp with fanatic xenophile and egelatarian.
