I got this system about 2 years ago and never used it manly because I was new to sewing and didn’t know enough about garment construction. I started watching KZbin videos on it and gave it another go. I just made a lovely coat I’m so happy with it and it fits really nicely

The lower part of the bodice below the line you are supposed to use your hip measurement, but I didn’t see you change the pin.for the shoulder, use the upper bust measurement just for the shoulder, then change the pin to full bust.

Around that time my hip and bust measurements were the same. 116. I do like the tip to use my high bust for the shoulder area. Thank you.

I would have left the little pattern numbers and not cut them off. That way you can tell which one it is if you want to use it again. This is a good system. :)

Most of the time I write the information on the patterns instead and bundle the pattern onto a pattern hook if I liked the pattern and the outcome of the pattern.

I don't know if she made a copy of the page, but I would do that. I am trying the system for the first time

@@carmensandoval6149 yes. I always make a copy of the page. I don’t want the pages being messed up where in the future I wouldn’t be able to use them from use. I actually do that with my tissue patterns too now. I trace them on to my brown paper and work from there also.

@@madamemegan Same! I always copy my lutterloh patterns and trace commercial patterns. I use exam table paper on a roll. It's inexpensive which is great for me because I do make a lot of mistakes lol. This last lutterloh supplement that I bought- I actually sliced off the bound edge of the book and scanned the whole thing to PDF so I could just print the pattern I want to use. :)

@@aimster2084 Thank you so much for that Idea! I actually love the idea of making them into PDF's
