How To Crochet a Ball [LEFT HANDED] For Beginners

In this tutorial I show you how to crochet a ball. I'm LEFT HANDED but if you're a righty, the instructions are still the same, you'll just have your work and your hook in opposite hands.
I take it row by row with simple straightforward instructions. This teaches increases and decreases in crochet so it's a good place to start honing those technical skills.

I know you posted this a while ago but is this the same pattern on any size ball also great video most simple one out there.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, apparently I have to check for comments daily because YT doesn't give me notifications. Did not know that. But yes, the same pattern for any size. You simply continue increasing until the diameter you want. You can also change the size by using a different weight yarn and the corresponding hook size

It would be hard to say without looking at it. The edges do curl up as you go, especially when you start going straight around without increasing. If it's curling more than it should, it could indicate that you missed some increases or that your tension is too tight.

Sooooo much talking, its a very slow tutorial because of that, i had to give up I'm afraid but its great that other people find it helpful

Sorry to hear that. I try to limit the talking, but as these videos are geared towards complete beginners, I also don't want to leave out any information a brand new crocheter might need. It's not always easy to find a balance that works for everyone.
