Thank you for holding your yarn the way you do! I do too and I'm very happy to know there are at least two of us now!! It's the only way that ever felt comfortable.

Thank you for the video instructions. It was excellent to follow for me being a sometime crocheter. I was looking for something to contain small Holiday gifts this year. The basket looks perfect. I love the pattern even though for some reason my left hand seems to have a memory of it's own...it always wants to yarn over..I have no idea why. So I have had to actually pay attention to the alternating pattern, which was fine. It was coming out lovely. Today when I started it, I got comfortable in pajama pants and slippers at the kitchen table. At one point, row 9, I got up to start dinner. I must crochet loosely because when I got back to my work I noticed that my foot had caught the yarn and I had 'traveled/unraveled' the yarn at least five rows back. I couldn't stop laughing being that I was so proud of myself with what I had done. All is fine now, just wondering if anyone else have had 'traveling' yarn? My first time.

Oh my gosh, you are the easiest & the most clearest crochet tutorial, I have ever watched. I am more of a knitter and new to crocheting. I have seen other people teaching me to loop make a circle starting the basket, but your technique is so much better. Thank you for teaching me to make this gorgeous basket with the handles. I love it. I am going to start it today ❤️

Is round 11 supposed to add up to 40? I’ve tried several times and my handles are not symmetrical. And I’m about 4 stitches short of getting back to the first stitch of the previous round. I wonder what I’m doing wrong?

I only have Red Heart Super Saver yarn worsted four yarn i have any thick yarn like you have
@JessicaLJX4 жыл бұрын
Great pattern! But every time I do it, even with the 10 dc in the starting circle, I end up with only 18 instead of 20 dc (not counting the chain 3). I have no idea how it’s possible to get 20 without putting 2 into the final stitch where the chain comes out from, the way you have it! So then I again only end up with 36 instead of 40 the next round, though my work looks identical to yours! Any clarification would be much appreciated 💕
@EasyCrochetcom4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jessica, Once you make the 10 dc's you will need to do two dc's into each of the previous 10 dc's to get 20.
@ashleyschwarz86586 жыл бұрын
I'm using a medium worsted yarn with hook I 5.5mm instead of the thicker yarn you use with bigger hook. After round 3 I only have a 4" circle instead of 7". Should I just do a few more rounds of the 2 dc? Then start the sides?
@EasyCrochetcom6 жыл бұрын
I would suggest using two strands of the worsted weight held together to make it work a little better. Hope this helps. :)

Hey! I want to make one more round for the base. How do I do that? The same as the previous round?
@EasyCrochetcom6 жыл бұрын
You add another round of the base by doing 2 dc's in each stitch in round 4 instead of what is written. Then follow the pattern for the rest of the basket. :)

Love the pattern, i have made it and im really happy with it but is there a way to make it bigger. I have tried doing extra of the 2dc rounds but its making the work ruffle and then it just doesnt look right am i doing something wrong...any advice? Thankyou
@louisefountain14045 жыл бұрын
Kirby Crutchley use two or three strands of yarn hon and a hook that can handle the yarn- personally I’d use at least a K hook give it a try - a sample swatch and see how it works up I love making baskets and pet blankets using at least 2 strands of yarn
