It took trying out tons of other videos and wasting half a day to discover yours is the most beginner friendly and efficient. I knit 99% of the time and it’s a cinch but for some reason crocheting is a struggle cuz it hurts my hands and carpal tunnel becomes an issue meanwhile the frustration level goes up when you can’t see where to connect after each round but your video is by far the best to follow. All I wanted to do was make a cat bed for my friend but crocheting a basket is harder than I thought. Thank you for making your videos so easy to see and follow. Great job indeed. You deserve all the praise you got for this tutorial. Best one out there. Bless you and your lovely family ^^

My first successful crochet. Thank you. One thing I would recommend for beginners is to put some kind of marker on first single crochet, I had a lot of trouble finding it. But awesome tutorial, Im so happy I did it.

I did it! After about a dozen unravels, this baby is done. I know that's kinda sad, but the devil is most certainly in the details and it took me that long to realize several things that were making my counts off. Thanks for the great video. Now I'm filling my basket with hair ties.

Would I follow the same pattern on the bottom of the basket to make the bottom bigger? Or as the bottom gets bigger would I have to increase with every next row? Thank you.
@YARNutopia9 жыл бұрын
Tsjuder1349 If you want the basket to be bigger, just follow the pattern increase for each round until the bottom is as wide as you want it to be and then once it is wide enough, you can stop increasing and work around until it is the height you want it to be. I hope that helps! ~Nadia
@Tsjuder13499 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for your reply Nadia! I guess I was overthinking the concept. Now I have to get yarn thats sturdy enough so the sides wont collapse like they kinda do on my last basket :) Thank you!

To make a lid I guess you could make the base of this larger, and do the sides shorter? So it will be like a mini version of this, but use it as a lid? Hope that makes sense ☺️
