I was able to figure out row 7 but alternating the colors for the sides of the basket are also tricky. Would have been great if that was shown in a brief tutorial as well.

Would you do a tutorial on round 8 and finishing the basket? Still confused!

Absolutely Beautiful basket. To all of you commenting that the tutorial is incomplete try following the links and you will get the full pattern. Just saying.............

Finally got this row 7 . If it helps, this is what I learned, Row 7 is a doubled up v stitch row that is the beginningv stitch row of the puff pattern if you will. dc2tog, ch1,( dc2tog sharing stitch of the first dc2tog just as you would for a regular v stitch) Then move to the Next stitch or next 3 stitches to start another v stitch.

For the Moroccan basket how do I join the liner with the outer. The liner has 14 rows and the outer has 19. If you cld give me a tutorial for the joining wd be helpful
@MsFeistyPants2 жыл бұрын
I have a confusion with the terms. Instructions say dc2tog in the next 2 stitches. I think this means make a normal dc that requires two previously unused chains or does it mean make 1 dc2together twice which would use 4 empty chains. The video stitch action stops for verbal instruction after one dc2tog is made. I can't make out exactly what happens after that. Is it one dc2together or is it two dc2together to make two in a row? Thank you.

It’s really beautiful, but couldn’t you just show us a tutorial of the whole thing and make it easier 🙏🌹❤️ It’s just that I’m getting older, so sometimes reading it does not compute☺️ You do do lovely work... or what is the name of the stitch and maybe I can find it somewhere else I found it... I found it.. GREAT WORK ❤️🌹🙏

Everyone, it's her choice to only tutorial the 7th row. It's one of the most difficult rows. You can always just look at the pattern or watch simple stitch tutorials to figure out the rest.

Beautiful basket! I noticed that the first two dc's are just regular dc stitches done separately, not dc two togethers, this is shown in the next set of two..!!

Couple things are confusing when you first start you say two loops left on a hook there's actually three and then after you close off those three You don't chain one? But you do it on the rest of the sections? If I hadn't already done the liner and gotten this far on the outer part I would give this up :( I'm thinking it needs a chain one because that's what the instructions say but that isn't what you did you went right into the next stitch without chaining one? Am I mistaken?

Susan M any idea how many v stitches we should have at the end of the round? I have also done the liner and got as far as round 8 but it doesn't look right

@Thaiselle8 жыл бұрын
+Tamara Kelly The only link that I could see is a link to another project. I'm interested in seeing what it looks like to combine the liner with the outside. I've followed the pattern and the liner came out quite a bit taller than the outside, for one thing, so I'd like to see the actual act of inserting the liner and connecting the two.

Hi Tamara, tk you for your reply. Was just wondering, the liner has a total of 14 rounds and the outer has 19 rounds and When attaching them together, the outer is bigger than the liner and hence the basket is like gathered up. Would appreciate if you cld explain pls
@marygking Жыл бұрын
Would really appreciate if you cld have a tutorial for inserting the liner into the basket
@mooglyblog Жыл бұрын
@@marygking Yes, the outer needs to be slightly bigger or the inner would be too big to fit inside. However, the stitch count in the final round is the same, so you can join stitches one to one.
