This Pocket Dragon is a cute, mini plush of magic and joy! This little fantasy creature is a quick, easy, and almost no-sew amigurumi. The only part that requires sewing is his wings. A full video tutorial is included, making this an easy and beginner-friendly project. It’s recommended to use super bulky chenille velvet or blanket yarn. For a tinier keychain size, you can use worsted weight or thinner yarns.
It’s the perfect ami doll to make for craft fairs, medieval or Renaissance fairs, farmer’s markets, or as kids party favors. This unisex and gender neutral toy will appeal to all: boys, girls, children, adults, and everyone in-between! It’s a great last-minute birthday gift and Christmas holiday gift. This squishy plushie can also be used for therapy as a sensory fidget or stress relief object. Its arms and legs are stumpy nubs that you can rub or twiddle with, providing tactile stimulation. I like this pattern (although I did change a few things when crocheting it) such as, making it no sew (because I prefer to do no sew 😅) and I did move the arms a little further down because I thought they were just a little to far off the sides, great pattern though!

You can hold your yarn doubled and use a larger hook! Follow the same pattern and your dragon will come out bigger!

Cotton is fine for amigurumi, but messy stitches do show up easier because it has such crisp stitch definition! I also like using acrylic for amigurumi, and in this project I'm using polyester yarn (it's a chenille velvet that gives off a plush/fluffy look).
