I really love these slippers. So many tutorials show slippers but they look more like a sock, whereas your pattern looks like a real pair of slippers to me. I really like the look of them.

Wonderful video! I have just finished making a pair of these in chunky navy for my Nan for Mothers Day. I made another sole in black, and stitched on patches of black non-slip mat at the ball of your foot and heel, and then slip stitched this around the edges before doing the crab stitch. Gives it a bit more padding and warmth :) They look amazing, so thank you so much for the tutorial. Only been crocheting since the end of January 2021, and I made these in 2 days after work, so you're a fab teacher! I used one yarn ball (144m) with a bit to spare.

Lol Sirin, I watch you're tutorials all the time. My husband told me this morning that his slippers were ripping, so this one came just at the right time. Also my cat meowed at the door for me to let him in. I got up to let him in and no cat. I realized it was your cat in the background that meowed. Don't worry about cutting your tails too short. I sometimes do that on purpose if getting low on yarn. I just insert the needle then put the yarn through, pull and yarn is hidden. LOL Thank you for the moccasin/loafers video. They look great.

Hi, Sirin. These are the nicest crocheted moccasins I have seen - can't wait to make them!! Question, though - it looks like you also did the crab (reverse single crochet) along the top of the foot part (around the toes and the "tongue" part) - I didn't see it in the video, so just checking to make sure. I find slowing the speed in the settings is enough to follow trickier bits...

What worked for me is i work on both at one time. I listen to how many stitches, I pause the video and I do that set on both slippers, I turn the video on for the next batch of stitches, hit pause and do it on both slippers. My soles match in size far better doing two at a time than when I did one complete and then started the next.
